Horrible!! they don't want to give me back my deposit. They said you wait 45 days for a deposit and 45 days has passed and now they are telling me about a backlog after they had 45 days to process refunds!! And no communication was received about delays in refund payment. Consults are rude and getting impatient because I want my money. Bunch of ****mers !!!

I find this to be the worst utility’s app I’ve ever used, firstly I feel like it’s ****ming us users because we cannot even track our usage on the app on a day to day basis, you cannot track your usage on the app itself they just show you an amount deducted that you cannot verify its authenticity, this one time they came back charging me R530 and when I tried to see charges there was a 1 liner of “last 10days”, when I queried this I was not satisfied with the response that was provided to me and there is nothing else that I could do but to just say ok to charity who was trying to assist me. What’s irritating they just randomly comeback and state “last 2 days” and charge R201,81. We cannot even budget for electricity because you cannot monitor what’s happening, I honestly believe this is just a fancy way to rip their customers knowing very well that we are stuck in complexes that we have signed a year’s contract and we cannot just stop using it. The complex that I live in is truly amazing the only down part is that they use Fungi utilities! If I had a choice I would go back to using MANUFLO! Honestly fungi is the worst utility thing I’ve ever used!

This is the biggest money making scheme! It is sooo expensive and they claim it’s directly linked to your meters, however how can one spend R100 a day when both people residing in the property are at work all day? I’m so dissatisfied we have resorted to closing all pipes of the toilets , switching off everything except the fridge and still the costs are exorbitant. When we lived in a bigger house our monthly electricity bill would be 1000 at most especially in winter time now our bill now with fungi our bill for 10 days (mind you only two people live here and no one is home during the week) is 1000 a month is 3000 a month and it’s summer and it’s a smaller house. Please run away from residential property that uses Fungi utilities you will pay exorbitant

I am reeling from having to survive being left stranded without electricity for over 36 hours and counting, on a weekend, while the rest of the estate has. Calls to Lungile yielded no assistance as she shirks off responsibility to the caretaker who is not employed by the estate nor an electrician in the first place. We have an 8 month old baby and 5 year old toddler. We have been ignoring how costly electricity is through this third party provider because we found them here but it is absolutely unbecoming that this useless entity does not have a technical team to service emergencies. The customer care is nonexistent with the most nonchalant person on the other line telling us “unfortunately” this and that. Considering that we have a fridge full and mouths to feed, we ask what happens to our groceries and are told to send an email about this and it will be “escalated” because there is no troubleshooting assistance or provision for losses that are due to the service provider’s failure to deliver services. If you are looking to purchase or rent a sectional where they use Fungi, please reconsider especially if you have little ones or an elderly person on breathing support, they will literally die. With or without loadshedding and power outages in the area, the provider will make sure to be of no assistance when you are faced with a crisis. Perhaps our blackness means we do not need electricity even though we are paying for groceries, electricity, wifi and the rest. I’m not sure how the consumer protection act work, CSOS or whatever, we will have to find out because, if it is not a civil issue it’s definitely an infringement on our human rights.

Over charged and when I raised a complaint about how my charges have increased I was sent an email on “how to read” the deductions as if I haven’t been using the system for 2 years. 500 gets used up in 4 days. people who are paying directly with no middle man are paying way less

Truly the worst. I find myself topping up the wallet on a constant basis despite the level of usage in the house. When I try to call in to get an explanation on why we are being charged so much, I an not met with a response.
