I have never encountered such a complete lack of leadership and basic customer service skills as I did with Zain at Haval Woodmead. For someone in a management position, his performance is an absolute embarrassment to the brand. From start to finish, the experience was a disaster: Gross Incompetence: Zain is disorganized, unresponsive, and consistently failed to provide basic information. He acts more like a roadblock than a manager. Appalling Attitude: He is dismissive, lacks any form of professional courtesy, and clearly does not value his customers' time. His 'soft skills' are non-existent. Zero Accountability: When issues arose, there was no follow-through. He is quick to make excuses but incapable of providing solutions. A manager is supposed to elevate the customer experience, but Zain’s involvement only made the process more stressful and frustrating. It is clear he is either untrained for this role or simply doesn't care. If you value your time and want a professional experience, do not deal with Zain. I will be taking my business elsewhere and escalating this to Haval South Africa’s head office.

I had been searching for this specific vehicle for some time, and I was pleased to finally find it here. The only challenge was reaching an agreement on the finances. The salesperson, Simon Phoku, together with his manager, made every effort to communicate openly and to accommodate me as much as possible. The application was processed, but that is where the difficulties began with the Finance Department. The experience became unpleasant when I rejected the high interest rate of 15.8% offered by one particular bank, and I was informed that all other banks, including my own, had declined my application. To clarify the matter, I contacted my private banker and, a few days later, returned with an approved rate of 12% from my bank. At this stage, however, the Finance Department appeared to delay the process, and the deal took much longer than expected to conclude. I eventually had to escalate the matter to higher management and personally follow up in order to get the transaction finalized. I would like to extend my appreciation to those who conducted themselves with honesty and professionalism throughout this process. Overall, this is not a bad dealership, but improvements within the Finance Department could go a long way in reducing client frustration.

If it allowed me to put no starts I would. Haval woodmead is the most useless dealership I have ever been too their staff are not trained and don't know what model and prices their vehicles are I went into the dealership to buy a p series and the sales person tells me its R500k for the 2023 model so I app**** for R500k finance and when I get approved he tells me the price is R590k and the model is 2022 then tells me its 2024 Wasted my time and credit application I then proceed to head office and tell them the story and my budget they then proceed to offer me a more expensive vehicle out of my budget This is what you have to deal with with Haval SA I dont recommend this dealership no one. WASTE. Useless staff, useless dealership

Haval woodmead treated me like a queen!! Simon, Zain & Ishrit helped me so much. I was a real pain in the bum & they still went the extra mile to make sure I got everything I wanted when trading in my car for a beautiful new car at a gorgeous price. Thank you so much Haval woodmead! You have a customer for life!

A deal was concluded and an offer to purchase was sent to me. While finance was being arranged on the car the dealer principle went back in the original deal and said he was not making enough money on the car an other people were interested in it. He then refused to honour the original deal. Never even had the decency to call me. Absolutely shocking experience. Stay away. Cheap second hand car dealer tactics. The epitome of the cliche. Horrible damage to the Fury Brand. Had nothing but excellent service from their Ford Branch in Fourways. And now this. Stay away. At least until they sort out this manager..

Dear Strephan and Theuns The frustration with my Haval Jolion Premium 1.5T 7DCT is never ending. After the car was with you for 3 days last week for assessment, the central control panel is still not switching off. The transmission has improved since the software update however, after 5 days the transmission has started lagging and again has a jerky gear change. I drove through a small pothole this morning, and the hazard lights turned on. I will be communicating with MFC the car finance provider on this car, as the product is faulty and not meeting basic requirements. Very, very disappointed with this car and the lack of feedback - not even a follow up call after I collected the car on Saturday!!! Regards Bronwyn

Service (car servicing) is unprofessional, no care attitude when things go wrong which is often, technicians/mechanics don't take pride in their work, management don't want to fix this they seem to be happy with the low standards, communication between different departments doesn't exist, you tell the service advisor what needs to be attended to on your car and the message doesn't seem to get shared/communicated through. Last service I got home with oil spilled all over the engine, a windscreen wiper water bottle cap missing, clips for my carpets missing, and the lights that they state on the invoice that have been checked but I still had blown bulbs so it's just talk/bs that they check things on a service! Find somewhere else to do servicing.
