I was left the whole day without electricity, despite loading R440 into my account of electricity, I'm home with a small baby without electricity, food is getting rotten.... zero sense of emergency from their whatsapp line their last respond to me was at 14:06pm till now its the next day and Im still without electricity

This company is so horrible I don’t know they allowed to operate, if I could give them a zero I could, tell my why my usage is super high and I’m not even in my flat. ****mers of note

We have experienced numerous instances where we made immediate payment for electricity, yet had to wait several hours before it was allocated. On one occasion, electricity was purchased at 6:00 am but only allocated between 3:00 and 4:00 pm. We were informed that an incorrect reference number had been used, which was untrue, as the correct reference number clearly reflected on our payment. Today, we made a purchase at 07:34 am, and more than two hours later the electricity has still not been restored, nor have we received any response from GCT despite sharing proof of payment. Based on these repeated delays and poor communication, I would not recommend any apartment connected to GCT.

These guys are ****mers! They literally just decided to take my entire electricity units (R374) for no reason, then try to claim it was for water and municipal charges. I GET CHARGES OVER R1300 EVERY MONTH FOR THESE CHARGES!! Worst part is I consciously tried to save electricity this month, by only using gas stove, only washed laundry once this month and even mostly using my laptop on battery mode. Just for them to decide "NO WE FEEL LIKE YOU DIDNT USE ENOUGH ELECTRICITY"

Worst part is I consciously tried to save electricity this month, by only using gas stove, only washed laundry once this month and even mostly using my laptop on battery mode. GCT Technologies has been the most disappointing service provider I’ve ever dealt with. An amount of R1,600 lasted an entire month, yet R2,650 worth of electricity barely lasted the same period. Their fees are unreasonable, and the cost they add simply for loading electricity is excessive. It feels like a complete rip-off, with very little value for the money paid. If you come across a rental property that uses GCT Technologies, take my advice and avoid it entirely.

Gct system for electricity and water is the worst system created ever, I don't understand why Rental places use their system for tenants. A Month for just electricity where we rent is literally R2000, we pay more then what a person for electricity should be paying. It's not even a full house, their system is a ****, the charges are ridiculous every time u load light u are charged just for loading. Many of us from East on 82 Rental Apartments are forced to switch of of our geysers to try save electricity but still we pay alot of money. Worse wors system ever for electricity we are being ******. When I first moved here in 2021 for the whole month it was R1000 it's 2025 and it's 1000 more. And my family we only just 3. This is the reason that makes people move out of this place. I would not recommend companies to use GCT control for electricity

This has to be one of the worst companies out there!!! This company is literally ****ming people and getting away with it. I'm not sure why Houss is still working with them, maybe they get their cut from them too. Literally day light *******!!
