🛑 Very disappointed with Glamor Hair in Wentwood, Sandton. I ordered hair extension clips online (Order #G15679), on the 31st of May 2025 and received it on the 7th off June 2025. What I received was shocking: I contacted the seller immediately and requested a refund. However, they refused, citing that I had broken the cable ties used to bundle the hair. This was necessary to inspect the product properly, and no damage was caused due to mishandling. I have photographic evidence which I will attach. The item is of unacceptable quality and not fit for use. The seller's refusal to refund violates the Consumer Protection Act, specifically regarding the consumer's right to receive goods of reasonable quality and fit for the intended purpose. • Skew clips • Mismatched thread • Loose strands • Tangled hair When I requested a refund, they refused—because I broke the cable ties to inspect the product. How else am I supposed to check quality? 😡 I am warning others to be cautious when ordering from them. 0/10. Please don’t buy directly from the store. The lady in the front, with the bob and gold tooth is so unbelievably rude. Funny enough she was nice to the white customer before me and when I came to pay, she didn’t even make eye contact with me and threw my receipt at me. So so rude! You would think I’m there to ***** from them? I am supporting, I literally purchased something. And boy oh boy was she watching me like a hawk, her friend had the same tendency but at least she was more willing to help and smile at me. But the lady with the black bob and gold tooth? So rude. If you want rudeness and go there

THE FLIPPEN WORST EVER!!!!! DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY. BOUGHT R4500 WORTH OF EXTENTIONS, WORE THEM FOR A 3 WEEKS AND THEY LOOK LIKE FAKE BARBIE HAIR. AND THE BEST OF ALL. THEY DO NOT CARE, TELLING ME ITS NORMAL THAT THE HAIR BREAKS OFF BECAUSE ITS BLONE. PLEASE DO YOURSELVES A FAVE, DONT BUY FROM THEM. THE LADY ON THE PHONE IS SO RUDE, NO ONE ASSISTS YOU. MY WEDDING IS IN 2 WEEKS!!!! AND MY HAIR HAS BROKEN SO MUCH. THEY ARE VERY VERY QUICK TO TAKE YOUR MONEY AND RUN.

I have been a customer of Glamorhair for years now. I am very skeptical when buying a brand i don't trust. They introduced their watercolor semi-permanent hair dye which they say lasts 10-20 washes. I invested in it and bought 5 colors. I only got to use 2 of them last saturday. It was vabriant and beautiful. Only to see my client post a selfie and i noticed there was no color anymore...i contacted her and she told me the color was gone! It wasn't even 5 days yet. I felt so bad...i did explain to her it was the first time of trying this brand. I sent an email to them on the 14th of November 2022. At the time of writing this it is 2:13pm, since i didn't get a response, i called their numbers and the person that answered told me that they don't have access or respond to emails and that it's only the owners that have access and respond to emails and that i should wait for them to respond. I asked her, if they have access to emails, why not calls as well because only god knows when they will respond. I do believe this is gonna be my last transaction with them. I have not had issues in the past, but these WATERCOLORS don't last. 5 days? Whereas you claim it does last 10-20 washes. In my email i told them i have only open 2 colors out of 5 of them, so i don't mind returning them for NOUVELLE colors and i don't mind paying the deficit.

This store and the management is utterly atrocious! I bought from their online store and received a rusted item. When I called to enquire for assistance they told me that they were sorry but that must if the ventilation needles in their store were rusted( yet they still sell them) and referred me to their manager/owner who made it a priority to ignore my emails. I would honestly not recommend anyone to this store.

The extensions are extremely dry and looks really bad. I put them in once and it looks so bad and fake. They also didn’t want to assist in getting the tight color and said I had to color it myself or they cannot help me. This is the worst experience I have ever had with any company, they will never see me again. This was a complete waste of time and money.
