The worst entry receptionist woman ever . We brought our dog in as he was very sluggish and slow and the vet told us he was not the only one and that there were a few there on drip. With no scans or any other diagnosis, he gave us pills and gave the dog 2 injections and sent us home. We were put off because he gave him antibiotics and also diarrhea pills even though the little guy was mostly constipated. WE went the next morning as he had not improved during the night....... to be met on the stoep by the same sultry assistant who was adamant that we had to wait the extra 15 minutes for opening time. We are old so being invited in for a seat would have been nice as there were no other people there at that stage. After we got to the vet he said we would have to leave him there as they would put him on a drip ........... The reception was very quick to ask for R5,000 as a deposit which freaked us out as can be imagined. The next day they phoned my wife and told her to come in and say goodbye to him. !!!!! We still dont know what was actually the problem as it happened so quickly. Now what raised a red flag for us was the fact that soon after a bloke I know told us the very same thing. His dog had a limp that they couldnt sort out themselves and they took him in. Medication and sent home and 2 days later.............. dead. Maybe we are paranoid but the whole experience devastated us and the care was non existent and the bill was really hectic. We will never use that vet ever again and also not recommend them . We are still devastated by his passing as he was one of us on another level.. We had 2 mini Dachshunds that were treated at Panorama here in Cape Town and both ( after lots of care and xrays etc) were put down as I could see the back problems were (after caring tests and attention) beyond help. They both had 2 back spine ops each to no avail unfortunately. The 2nd dog we never got a bill for when he passed away. We had a caring condolence card from them .......... something we never got from Glencairn vets. Maybe I should stop................ The reviews I have read .... they must be talking about a different organization it seems. Look ..... I seldom write bad reports and moan but he was dear to our hearts.

It is with sadness to write this review and not taken lightly , as generally negative reviews are not nice to write, as after taking this up with one of the Seniour partners in the business with an expectance of making them aware of the problem the business face, I soon realised that it is actualy part of the company makeup. In short, I was **** to on multiple occations, with me ending up driving there to get some uoutcome, just to be **** to again, long story short, got overcharged for a test that I was told were to be redone, as it was not conclusive and had to come vback the next morning to take some more blood, which turned out miracculaously not being nessecary , after 10 min before had a call to see when I will be there for the redrawing of the blood. I suggest you check your bill and dont just atke everything at face value. After it became clear that I was possibly not going to pay for the blood test , if it is not shown to me , it became a game of cat and mouse, and ended up being hostile , this after telling the Vet owner of how I have been **** to in the whole process, so in short you can not and will not be listened to.

Both my rescue animals had to go in for an operation(non elective surgery) with a surgical mass removal and bladder stone removal. I earn very little and have 2 kids, however I have both animals on pet insurance. The insurance wasn’t honest about their payout as 1/3 of the payout is for non elective surgeries, which both my animals had. The vet did not word the invoice correctly and made it a continuation claim resulting in a poor payout from the insurance. They were quick to accept the animals as if they care but it’s all a front. They want your money and don’t care about the animals.to date I have paid R16000 in cash for both operations and it has not even been a month since the vet invoiced me and the animals were out of theatre and I only owe R8000. Before discussions of a payment arrangement could be made they debited an amount of their own and cleared out my account. Refuse to reverse or make a payment arrangement, and want to know when they can get their R8000. I told them they can call me in a month to make an arrangement as I need to make a plan to feed my family. Animal loving families that can’t afford outrageous vet bills beware. This business does not care for your animal but the money you have to offer them.

Over the years, I've always received good service from this vet. Their appointments run on-time, their staff are friendly and the environment seems very sterile and clean.

Another sterling experience from Glencairn Veterinary Clinic. Dylan Dukas was amazing, professional and very experienced. Diagnosed our fluffball kitty very quickly and explained exactly what the prognosis was in layman's terms. Totally put our mind at ease... One thing though.... So jealous of how quickly he gave our kitty his oral medication... When we do it, it's usually one heck of a drama!!!!! TOTALLY recommended!

So DISGUSTED by the lack of after hour service by veterinary clinics service in the South Peninsula. Shame on ALL of you!!!! Disgusting. I called Two Oceans Veterinary Group: Glencairn, Kommetjie and Fish Hoek at 1.49pm Saturday. My dog had been bitten by a snake and had stopped breathing. The useless woman on the other end says and I quote "I am sorry we are closed", just go to Belmont Vet"i was panicked and asked where is that" she says to me "ughhhhhh just Google it" shame, SHAME on you and all you Vets that work in the South Peninsula. Shame on all of you!!!! And your heartless staff. Disgusting. THANK GOODNESS for Dr Sally Armstrong that assisted us at Noordhoek Garden Emporium Vet. Without her our beautiful Bella would not of made it.
