The place that we book through them Riviera Suites was not up to standard , they made no effort to assist us with a refund , if you are thinking of booking a holiday , stay away from Gomelo , rather stay at home.

Got sent an email advertising special rates via Unmarketing. The link does not work since they sent out the email. Have tried at least 20 times all to no avail. Total waste of time and energy. I can understand site may have been overloaded but at 2am results were same

This is the worst booking website I have ever encountered in my 48 years of life. The interface is awful. The login / security is impossible to navigate with a validation AND a one-time pin SMS requirement that only accepts SA cell phones. Tiny minds made this platform. It is an abomination.

Die was my 1ste en laaste keer wat ek Gomelo sal gebruik vir enige bespreking. Ons wou bespreking maak by Sudwala Lodge, maar kon nie direk op hulle website en is verwys na Gomelo vir die besprekings. Die konsultant wat my 1ste gehelp het by Gomelo was so ongeskik en glad nie hulpvaardig omdat ons 2 gesinne is waarvan die een gesin 5 is en die konsultant nie verstaan dat ek 'n eenheid soek wat hulle sal kan akkommodeer. Dit het my gekos om Sudwala te ****ak sodat hulle my kan help met watse kamers ons moet kies wat groot genoem is en wat hulle ons net ekstra sal vra per dag vir die ekstra persoon in die eenheid wat 5 bly. Die ekstra betaling sal plaasvind met aankoms. Dit was bevestig so en ons was gelukkig daarmee en het die bespreking vir 2 eenhede gemaak wat 4 slaap met die wete dat ons net ekstra sal betaal met ons aankoms. So kry ek 'n oproep van Gomelo, wat ons booking wil bevestig want hulle sien nou ek het gese daar gaan 5 persone in die eenheid slaap maar dis net 'n 4 slaper.. lang storie kort die agent het my 'n leunaar genoem en gese dat daar nie so reeling is met Sudwala het en hulle nie die bespreking so kan los. Ek het Sudwala ge****ak en weereens het hulle bevestig dat dit geen probleem sal wees hulle sal my so kan akkommodeer en bevestig dat hulle dit met Gomelo se ongeskikte agent ook bevestig het dis nou na die agent my 'n leunaar genoem het! Sulke swak diens van onervare agente sal maak dat besighede toemaak agv van 'n persoon wat net 'n salaris verdien en nie worry oor kliente diens en om die ekstra myl te gaan om te verseker die klient sal oor en oor terug kom om van hulle dienste gebruik te maak. Ek hoop dat die eienaar van Gomolo weet watse personeel hy aanstel en hoe min hulle die maatskappy en sy belange op hulle harte dra. Daarby gese, Sudwala Lodge se personeel sal nogsteeds uit hulle pad gaan om kliente gelukkig te stel, So welgedaan, en my voorstel vir hulle sal wees om uit te reik na 'n ander verhuuring agent om al hulle besprekings te hanteer want met 'n 3rd party agent soos Gomelo kan hulle verseker wees om kliente te verloor agv ongeskikte aanvallende personeel.

I am the “Owner” of Unit 504 at Beacon Island Hotel through Quality Vacation Club (QVC) for the last week in April every year. Leasure Portfolio Association (LPA) has something to do with the bookings of QVC. They also have Gomelo, with whom you can save your week, if you are unable to use it. Beacon Island is in the Southern Sun Group’ In 2023 I was not able to utilise me week, so I offered it to Gomelo and asked them to let me know if the found an occupant. As they did not get back to me, I offered the Unit to a friend of mine and gave him all the necessary documentation and also informed Beacon Island that my friend would be occupying the Unit. When my friends arrived, there was panic at reception. The Unit had been rented out to someone else and they hurriedly readied a “Stock Room” for them. I contacted Beacon Island and QVC to enquire how they could allocate my unit to another family without my knowledge. Beacon Island blamed Gomelo. Gomelo had not been informed and still had my Unit on their books. I contacted Southern Sun, and LPA and everyone passed the buck. At the end of the day Beacon Island made money out of my Unit but would not admit it. Eventually I gave up on the investigation because it was just a big cover up. Guess what! I personally checked in on Saturday 20 April 2024 to find out that my Unit was AGAIN allocated to someone else. Between all the parties I would like an explanation of how this is possible.

Their email address was from noreply@gomelo.co.za so I forwarded their email with my reply to themselves at info@gomelo.co.za ... I refer to the forwarded email below. Please remove my details from your database. It is an invasion of my privacy and ***** to create an account, username and password for me by yourselves. Where did you get my email address? You don't even have a subscribe button in your email. Not giving anyone a choice is the most arrogant I've ever seen or heard of. You should be ashamed of yourselves but I guess you won't be because you never even rep**** to any of the bad reviews on HelloPeter.com. You are a bunch of "*****s" as quoted from HelloPeter.com with all the other negative comments that were there about you.
