What a pleasant experience it is shopping at Govan Mani La Lucia Mall. Extremely helpful and knowledgeable staff members, always eager to help! No long queues and excellent service. What a win!

Bought JBL ear pods as a gift to my son. He tried the earphones and discovered that it did not fit well in the ear and was hurting his ear. Within 2 days of purchase i tried to return it. The manager rudely refused to accept the return. He said that the packaging box was torn and he wont be able to re-sell it. He also cannot return to supplier. I am now stuck earpods that my son caanot use My advice is not to buy products from Govan Mani and they have both rude staff and a poor return policy.

Govan Mani is no doubt the best elctronics store in SA. Last month a very close friend of mine recommended that I visit one of their stores, as they were having an end of season sale on their TV sets. So I visited my nearest Govan Mani store, and I was impressed with how lovely their store was laid out. They sell everything, from TV, Audio, Photography equipment and more! I am very pleased with the discount I got my new TV! Thanks Govan Mani.

So I wanted to compare prices because I wanted to purchase a camera and before purchasing it either online or in stores I wanted to have a look at the camera. So I asked the Indian man at the counter in the pavilion store if I could please have a look at the camera and he refused because he had assumed that I had already purchased the camera online. Firstly, whether a customer has made a purchase elsewhere or not, you should always treat them with respect and kindness and provide the services that the require and not refuse to help them because you as the employee feels it's unnecessary. I found the services pathetic and I will be notifying people to not use the pavilion Westville branch as they are not helpful in anyway.

I purchased a memory card from Reevesh on Sa****ay the 28th of May at the Gateway store. After getting home back to JHb I opened package and found that the card had been removed. Package seal was already broken.I called the branch on Monday the 30th and am still waiting for the Manager Juggie to call me back.

I had purchased a Targa Thump Series 4000watt amplifier for my car in April 2015. Within a week of usage the amp had went into protection mode. I had taken it back to Govan Mani Pavilion to repair as it came with a one month warranty. It had been fixed and i had it fitted back into my car. December 2015 it had went on protection mode again, i proceeded to take it back to the store for repair. Again, i had it fitted back into my car. In February 2016, once again the amp had gone into protection mode for the 3rd time in under a year. I took it back only to receive a call in 5 days stating i should come in for a refund as it cannot be repaired. On arrival i was told i paid by card i will be given a credit note which is absolute bull! I paid using a credit card which is now paid off and the account closed. When i paid for the amp initially i did not pay the supplier with a credit note. I think this policy is utterly disappointing and the sales consultant was abrupt and rude about them not being able to refund cash. Also they did not consider the inconvenience of me having to come in mutiple times because of their faulty stock. PATHETIC CUSTOMER SERVICE.

On the 28th of December 2015 I took my camera in to Govan Mani at Liberty Midlands Mall.
I was advised that there may be a service fee for looking at the camera should I reject the repair quotation given after my camera has been assessed. I was also informed that it may take 3 weeks for me to get my camera back.
On the 5th of January 2016, to my surprise, I received an sms stating that my camera was ready and I could come and collect it. I was and am impressed with the proficiency, the efficiency and the professionalism with which Nikon and Govan Mani handled my camera repair.

I would like to thank all the staff that made my prompt camera repair possible.
Thank you all. Job well done. :)
