Exceptional service from Keith - Hardware Centre Strijdom Park
Popped in store and needed help with a Router Collet for my project - dealt with Keith, exceptional service and incredibly insightful on their machines and tools and how to use the right tools for the right job - incredibly friendly and resourceful - thank you Keith, you are an absolute foundation of knowledge - i'll be back to collect my router bits (and hopefully, the right router i need to complete my project) - The hardware world needs more service oriented people like yourself, you've revived my passion for wood work - thanks again! Staff friendly and knowledgeable which makes your shop just so much more worth that drive!!! best bespoke woodworking shop in Johannesburg. Sure the shop to go to if looking for any hardware. any carpenters dream store! Among of cos all the tools your heart could and would desire. Staff friendly and knowledgeable which makes your shop just so much more worth that drive!!! It is a good place to go if you want to take your woodworking to the next level.

SCROLLSAW BLADES
I bought scrolllsaw spiral blades about a month ago from Hardware Centre Randburg. After I've tested one scrollsaw blade I was't satisfied with the end result. Today I went back to Hardware centre spoke to the salesman about my problem and he was willing to refund me fully for the unopened blades. What I didn't want to do all I want was to exchange it to for another type of scrollsaw blade. THE SALESMAN DID IT FOR ME AND ANOTHER HAPPY CLIEENT LEFT HARDWARE CENTRE. Thank You. Deon van Deventer.

No customer service and no after market support
Hi I purchased a Toolmate Lathe 12" from Hardware centre on the 21st of September 2019 and then after one year my lathe packed up to be exact 13 October 2020 and contacted a person the next business day 14 October 2020 Kenneth from Hardware centre where he said the warranty is only for one year he advise to contact a gentleman who does repair works for them and Strand Hardware . I guess it's fine but not is not. I took my lathe the following day to the gentleman who does the repair work and he contacted the people who imports the Toolmate machines Strand Hardware. At first there is no parts available etc. The owner at Hardware centre doesn't want to try and help at all. I then purchased a new machine from Adendorff yesterday at my cost. The second stage I contacted Marius and he also just said it's a year warranty
