Housefly's, Barking Dogs, and a collection (group?) of trash...
Let's talk about HD Property Group! Since becoming the managing agents at the complex where I live, there has been a tremendous amount of change...change for the better? Hardly, spare change left over from the money they don't use? Certainly heaps! The gardening service at a stage stopped...only to be begrudgingly resumed to a standard I think a house-fly with a shovel could match. Potentially exceed if you find a particularly motivated housefly! Let's talk about those housefly's though! Our complex is full of them. Which makes sense, as HD Property Group believes the most efficient way of managing trash in our complex is stacking all the bins 10 deep, and leaving their lids open, everybody loves the smell of rotting trash in the morning? Right? If you disagree, well...I'll have a housefly come and convince you otherwise. Someone else mentioned their lack of ability in managing noise, I'd hope the cacophony of barking dogs surrounding me would be managed, but alas...not with this (HD Property) group. I know this review will do nothing to improve their service, and that's fine...I don't believe they know how to deliver any service, much like our government. I do however, hope that someone deciding on a managing agent checks these reviews, and I plead with them - to reconsider...choose anyone else. As they all will do better than this...[insert any colorful adjective of your choice] group. In fact, I have a housefly I could recommend...

Exceptional Support from Clint Smit and Megan Hulme
I would like to share a review regarding two staff members of HD Property Group, Clint Smit and Megan Hulme. They have provided truly tremendous service and care. I greatly appreciate the fact that they always respond promptly to my emails and assist wherever they can. They are consistently helpful, friendly, and professional. It is wonderful to have people like this managing the complex where I live—people I can rely on whenever I need assistance. A big thank you to both Clint and Megan for their ongoing support and excellent service.

I greatly appreciate the fact that they always respond promptly to my emails and assist wherever they can. They are consistently helpful, friendly, and professional. Bad to No Noise Management
I have to agree with Zoey M that wrote a review about HD property group being terrible at managing noise at her complex as I am having the same experience with them at Ventura, a Summercon complex in Fourways. I have been having issues with noise from a neighbour that resides above me for the past 8 months now.. We have been reporting the noise endlessly to the security guards and the estate manager and nothing seems to be done about it.. The people that continue to make the noise have only been fined once and this definitely does not send a message to them that not adhering to the estate rules will not be tolerated. We have been told to report out complaints to CSOS but they have also not been able to do anything up to now... So I am wondering what does HD Property Group get paid for if they can not manage the estate like they should?

Not recommended
They do not deserve any star rating. They are inconsiderate managing agents. They do not respect the neighbouring buildings. They do not attend to issues impacting neighbouring properties emanating from the building they are managing. Their disrespectful behaviour is causing damage to our environment and our health.

Not recommended
They do not deserve any star rating. They are inconsiderate managing agents. They do not respect the neighbouring buildings. They do not attend to issues impacting neighbouring properties emanating from the building they are managing. Their disrespectful behaviour is causing damage to our environment and our health.

MURANO ESTATE SOUTH AFRICA The worst body corporate to ever exist. Nothing gets done, no communication and quite rude. You can be in a great complex until you get water issues and electricity issue. They ignore calls or any form of follow up email. The tanks rarely work when there's no water yet the guards will tell you there is water in the tanks they are waiting on body corporate. No water for 2 days, no communication except we logged a call. Then the guards say the tank is leaking and is being fixed. That is after asking them by the way. A tank that barely works. Avoid complexes owned by HD properties.

HD Property Group previously was known as Easy Living. They are the worst company to manage your complex. They are extremely bad at managing noise in the complex and ignore the recordings and video footage that you submit to them. Noise levels have picked up so much in the complex because of this. I would definitely not recommend them to manage your complex as they do not care about the noise that is disturbing you. They basically not doing their job.
