Hi there, would like to give a huge compliment to your wonderful staff. Firstly Nomthandazo wish I could click more then 5stars went all out, took instructions very well set up to our room was top notch . When i met her she gave me fat hug felts so loved and welcomed. Then went to breakfast star of the dish is Nadine what a lovely young lady welcomed us and went all out for us to feel home. House keeper lady I don’t know her name was so friendly made sure our room was top notch clean. All your staff really know customer service . Well done this was our second time in Hilton it now definitely our home. Thank you. My room was 1401 & 1406 for my daughter

I'm struggling to find words to describe the absolute perfection of our recent stay at the Hilton Garden Inn Umhlanga Arch! This stunning hotel has truly set the bar high for future accommodations. Ideally located near shopping malls and surrounded by exquisite restaurants, we were spoilt for choice when it came to dining experiences. From the moment we arrived, we were treated like royalty, thanks to the warm and welcoming receptionist, Nonhle. Her exceptional assistance, despite our early arrival, ensured that our stay got off to a memorable start. Our room was an absolute haven – inviting, comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed. It genuinely felt like a home away from home, making it difficult to venture out at times in a good way. The hotel's amenities, including the pool, gym, and in-house restaurant, further elevated our experience. We were thoroughly impressed by the exceptional customer service provided by the entire staff, who went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. We would absolutely love to return to the Hilton Garden Inn Umhlanga Arch and experience its excellence once again. Thank you to Nonhle and the entire team for creating a truly unforgettable experience!

We booked for 2 nights...cud not check in until 3pm which we tolerated....the next day we left the room at 09h30 and got back at 16h30 and the room was not cleaned. I contacted the manager Mr Andihle who came up to my room and said it was fine because they can clean any time from 9 to 5. He got the cleaners in the room who cleaned the room, slap dash, using our used wet towels to clean the wash basin not even freshening up the bathroom. Mr Andile (manager) was unsympathetic saying we could find alternative accommodation if we are not happy as he has other work to attend to at the front desk

If I had a choice I would honestly not stay here, everything about this hotel is infuriating, and . You are not allowed decent coffee with breakfast...that you pay for, as this needs to be paid extra...you are not given more water, after your first day of arrival, as you need to pay for water...there is literally no drinkable water in the rooms, unless you drink tap water, and for some this is acceptable, however I've had bad experiences from Durban tap water, so i try to avoid it. Overall this hotel is some of the worst I've had the displeasure to be forced to stay in.

If I had a choice I would honestly not stay here, everything about this hotel is infuriating, and . You are not allowed decent coffee with breakfast...that you pay for, as this needs to be paid extra...you are not given more water, after your first day of arrival, as you need to pay for water...there is literally no drinkable water in the rooms, unless you drink tap water, and for some this is acceptable, however I've had bad experiences from Durban tap water, so i try to avoid it. Overall this hotel is some of the worst I've had the displeasure to be forced to stay in.

Checked in feeling fresh, woke up feeling ill. Figured it was weather change and I had caught flu. Got pills, woke up better, went about business. Got back to hotel, just got get ill. Got more medicine and missed my meetings on Wednesday. Stayed in room but didn't get better. Went to meetings on Thursday and suddenly recovered. I then asked that they change my Linen but when I got back to room, I got ill. Ended up sleeping in car and there my breathing was fine, no coughing. I was super angry to think I missed important meeting coz of illness caused by the room. Had spent an hour in a colleagues room in the same hotel and I had no adverse reaction. The pictures speak volume. Pity I didn't have my swabs to take samples to be tested in our lab As if that is not worse, I order through room service, the chef laces my burger with season that could go on top of 50 other burgers. I take it back and the chef promises to refund. Check out date, the manager tells me they need bank statements, and proof that I swiped my card. Wow
