I am beyond shocked at the service to receive a refund back from HellyHansen/Hullabaloo! In all my years I have never experienced such terrible service, just to get my money back! After many years of wanting to purchase a Hellyhansen/Hullabaloo item, I finally did on the 03/06/2024. I received the order on the 07/06/2024, unfortunately the size did not fit me, I then inquired on an exchange, sadly there was no bigger size, so we agreed on refund upon return. I sent the package back on the 12/07/2024, upon waiting for acknowledgement if received, I emailed on the 25/06/2024 to assess what is going on and was told, a follow up will be made with accounting team and shall send the confirmation once they confirmed the refund. On the 06/07/2024 no refund was showing on my account, I then enquired again and was told a follow up will be made with accounts and will get back to me, guess what they never got back to me! So, another follow up email was sent 10/07/2024. On the 11/07/2024 I finally received a refund but to my surprise of only R600 from my R3638 order! Since then, I have sent numerous emails, even phoned, and spoke to 2 different assistant managers, on both occasions on the phone I was told they shall get back to me and guess what nobody ever called me back, till this day 20/07/2024 I am still waiting for my outstanding R3038!! I shall be seeking legal advice to get my money back; clothing companies cannot operate so!!

Previously I gave this company a 5-star rating for service because they delivered boots to me in record time. However the first time I wore the boots, one of the lacing eyelets fell-out. This was clearly a manufacturing fault. When I contacted Hullabaloo I was told that they were no longer the agents for the Hoka Kaha boots and they referred me to the new agents, who in turn told me that it was not their responsibility but rather the responsibility of Hullabaloo. The nett result is that I have bought a pair of defective boots and have no recourse. Interestingly Hullabaloo still features this boot on their website!

I tried to purchase a pair of Hoka boots online from Hullabaloo. My size was sold out so just on a whim I emailed and asked whether they may get more stock at the special sale price! William Pienaar replied promptly to tell me that they were expecting new stock and he could let me have my size at the reduced rate. I made a not to check with them a few weeks later but before I could do that,William contacted me to tell me that the boots had arrived and I could purchase. He gave me a link which took me directly to MY CHOSEN boot. I bought the boots and then realised that I would be away for a long period by the time the boots were delivered. I emailed William yesterday and mentioned this to him, not really expecting the impossible (especially since we have a long weekend looming. Much to my surprise the boots were hand delivered this morning (at no extra cost). I wish all companies would offer this level of customer care and service. Absolutely beyond expectation! Thank you William.
