I bought a Husqvarna lawnmower recently. The mower has wrong attachment. Repeated attempts at getting help from an authorized reseller as well as from Husqvarna directly have just been met with silence. Really disappointing to see a brand like this ignoring their customers.

I ordered a Pressure Washer online from this company on 05 December 2024. They don't communicate, I've been calling only for the to disconnect lines and have my calls hanging with the operator. I've sent an email, no response and I even called they're distributors for help. They don't get back to me as well. I'll never advise anyone to do business with this company. I just want a refund and I'm not interested in their products anymore. If they fail with delivery of a new thing then what about after sales. The worst purchase I've ever made, stay away from this business. They need to be made famous for their bad services My order #2929

Husqvarna ride on mower TS 242D My ride-on mower has been in the workshop here in East London since 2 March 2022 because the parts required is not available. The part nr is 5867241-01-RH This has been the case for 116 days (2 March 2022 up to 25June2022) The TS242D is by no means a vintage model mower, so there is no valid reason for this situation to actually exist. Furthermore I bought my mower brandnew in May 2021 based on Husqvarna's brand name for quality products. I expected proper after sales service. This appears not to be the case considering: 1. The mower was put in service May 2021 2. The length of time it takes to get a replacement part is not reasonable. Its uncertain why the part is not available and more importantly, WHEN will it be? At this stage, the local representatives, MOWERS EL, are in the dark about this. It must be really disempowering and frustrating for them to be associated with your Brand. How do you answer an irrate costumer about a repair job when the principal is incapable to provide the required parts? Needless to say, I wont be buying your products going forward. I will also not recommend it to anybody. I also intend to post this complaint on HelloPeter and my local community forums. The chances are very good that other customers may experience the same problem as myself ie. the non availability of parts to fix other breakdowns in your ride on mowers range.

The GPS module on the mower never worked after the PC board was replaced. See earlier review. This may not seem like a big deal, but on a large property the GPS is needed to assist with navigating around the lawn and returning to the charging station. So daily now the mower runs out of battery before it can find its charging station. So the damned thing can only run during the day when the gardener can keep track of its movements and carry it back to the charging station if it’s battery empties. The man from Husqvarna came out this week but I’ve heard nothing since. To boot, the Husqvarna ride-on is now on the blink despite being serviced religiously at least once a year. My experience with these Husqvarna products is, they’re great, but once you have the first problem, throw them away.

I am interested to see from this review whether Husqvarna works and whether Hello Peter works. I bought an Automower 450X in September. Stiff price (R57,000 all in). I’ve been running it on a large but straightforward garden - lawn plus trees and a pool. I was very impressed with its performance. There is no loud lawnmower going up and down, the lawn is cut continuously in a random, incremental pattern rather than the traditional scalping once or twice a week, and my petrol costs have dropped dramatically (there are still edges to do with a petrol brush cutter), not to mention the cost of repairs and maintenance of the two ride-on mowers (LTH2038 and RZ4621) which the staff just kept finding a way to break. But on Monday the Automower’s wheel motor stopped working. This in the middle of summer, the grass growing inches a week, at our holiday place 3 hours from Joburg, with a house full of visitors. I drove back to Joburg to drop the thing off with the dealer on Tuesday. Today is Thursday, the dealer closes for the year on Friday, and Husqvarna hasn’t fetched the machine from the dealer yet. So this morning out came the trusty RZ4621 zero-turn ride-on mower. One hell of a racket, uneven mowing, big petrol bill, hot as hell - back to square one. It won’t be a disaster if the robot isn’t back and we need to use the ride-on, but just 3 months of use before a major component failure, combined with the inconvenience of ferrying the thing back and forth to Joburg, makes me wonder if this machine is all it’s cracked up to be. I can’t pay R57,000 for something that works beautifully ... for 3 months. I’ll post an update as I go along. It did worry me too that, when the dealer hooked the Automower up to their diagnostic system, two other component failures aside from the wheel motor seem to have occurred. Too good to be true? I hope not. I love this machine, but I can’t have something that is unreliable.

Just a quick one to anybody wanting to buy Husqvarna products. Stay away because the warranty and service is shocking.

I bought a lawnmower from Husqvarna Standerton for R 5500.00. I thought to buy a expensive product it will last longer and you will get good service but that is not what I got from Husqvarna South-Africa and Stanedrton. I used my lawnmower personally and only in summer. Checked it every time before using it.

I heard a knocking sound on the engine and stopped immediately. I took it to the dealer and told him my problem. I only had it for 11 months and still under waaranty. After 2 weeks of waiting for somebody to contact me I went to the the dealer and asked what is the problem. He said the engine weared and I need a new engine.

He also spoke to Husqvarna South-Africa warranty department and they said it is wear on the engine and they are not going to do anything to help me. You must remember I only used it for my lawn at home. It worked for about an hour a day once a week and I replaced the oil and air filters 3 times in 11 months.

So people don't think if you pay more you get more from Husqvarna because that is not true and you don't get any service. Don't be fooled by the warranty because there is not any.
