12 Jan 2026 at 20:21 Complaint about customer service. I bought a car last year August and it was a demo car and it had a dent on the left back door and a chip on the window “same door” . I was promised that they fix my car the following week after buying it and they didn’t, ever since then I’ve been calling and whatsapping em about this and I’ve been getting empty promises up until I fixed the dent on the door myself which cost me R2800 because it was starting to rust. After that I call em around November still complaining and asking for my refund and my window to be replaced and they would keep giving me empty promises telling me that they’ve ordered the window n etc. come December time I kept contacting em because they were not showing any interest in my complaint and I had to be the one doing follow ups. I ended up Speaking to a guy called Reece who works there and he gave me empty promises up until he also referred me to his principal David Joash who also promised me that I’ll be sorted out but also empty promises , last week on the 7th January 2026 I called him and asked him when will I get my window fixed and refund and he promised me that everything will be sorted on Friday the 9th January 2026. Friday came and I didn’t get a call from em as usual and I didn’t get my window fixed and I didn’t get my refund. When I contacted Joash the Principal he told me he asked the other managers to contact me and his not in kzn and I as a customer as usual… should waste my airtime and call the manager who sold me the car because he didn’t sell me the car. I am very very disappointed and fed up with em .

My experience with Hyundai Ballito has been nothing short of frustrating and disappointing. It has been three months and I am still waiting for my refund on the traded-in vehicle (i was debitted 2 months premium despite the trade in and they failed to settle the vehicle in time), which is completely unacceptable. On top of that, I had to wait another three months for a safety triangle and wheel spanners—basic items that should have been included in the vehicle at the time of purchase. To make matters worse, I was left driving with an expired temporary license, and only after two months did they finally take my car for a COR. Throughout this entire process, communication and service delivery were extremely poor. Managers kept telling me “the refund is in the pipeline and should come through soon”. It has been since September that I am waiting. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Hyundai Ballito. I hope they seriously improve their customer service and follow-through in the future. I highly recommend against this dealership.

I had a very bad expirience with Hyndai Ballito i had an issue with my car window from last year 23/05/2024 they said they fixed it however its only worked for couple of weeks and did same thing again went back again on 23/07/2024 they lubricated the window so they say, same issue again went back i logged the same issue for the 3rd time they did the same thing on 23/01/2025 lubricated the window went back again for the 4th time with my window covered with plastics because it was raining the whole night i could not close the window where they decided they need to get 1 part for me this was so inconvinience my point is Hyndai Balito delays the process because they want to benefit themselves they dont care about customers as much as this was paid under warranty i feel like it was unfairly charged and they did this on purpose i want to know how on earth does this happen ??????? Can someone intervene on this matter i am not happy at all

HYUNDAI BALLITO has a bad service! Hyndai Ballito service is horrible, I am dealing with Sashin and his service is really bad, with lack of communication and professionalism.My mom purchased a car from them on June 2024 the car was a preowened hyndai Atos, when we signed the contract it's stated that the car had a maintenance plan and when I had to send the car for service they requested me to pay and I was confused meanwhile the was overdue. I called them to assist with updating with liquid capital and that took them a month to sort this out. When I had to go for service they told me my car doesn't have a maintenance plan, but service plan when I called they mentioned that they made a mistake and what is confusing my contract state the car has a maintenance plan. The car is displaying door signal even if the doors are closed and this thing keeps on making noise, my drivers window machine is faulty. I also did a research that the car sold to my mom the car belonged to Pinky doll car rental, they didn't declare that this car had an accident history. Yesterday I tried to speak to the manager by the name of Clinton about the car and planning to trade in the vehicle, he's ignoring my text. When he responded he asked who was was the sale person and I responded that it was Matty Ndlovu, the manager said he doesn't have a sales person by that name. I have had the bad experience and I don't which no one ever purchase a car from this dealership. I have all the chat with the manager kept as evidence because I need to call wesbank to inform my problem.

I am shocked at the way this dealership handled my trade in.I traded my previous vehicle in for a brand new model.After two months of paying double car installments, Hyundai still never settled the previous vehicle's balance at Nedbank.I owe debt(getting calls from the bank that I am in arrears) on a car that they possibly already sold.I have also canceled my insurance on the previous vehicle thinking that I've traded it in and is no longer liable for insurance. How are my rights as a consumer protected here?I'll never do business with this dealership again.

Hyndai Ballito service is horrible, I am dealing with Sashin and his service is really bad, with lack of communication and professionalism. Not just him but with the other staff I dealt with as well, including the reception. It's been over a month asking for feedback and not getting a response at all or no proper feedback they always making excuses. I am really disappointed with Hyndai Ballito as I have dealt with Hyndai in Gauteng (Midrand and Strydom Park) and their services are always exceptional.
