This was my first time taking my vehicle to the CBD branch for a service, and honestly, it was a complete waste of time. I waited over 30 minutes just to hand my vehicle over to the service department, as I was told that this was part of the process—despite arriving before 7:00 AM. I had to wait in the sun to drive my vehicle into the service centre which is usually done by the workers at the other service centre's but i had to basically follow the long queue in my car for over 30 minutes.i had to make this an issue because the car at the front left their vehicle unattended I had to still wait for 30 minutes behind that car! I was specifically advised to arrive before 7:00 AM if I planned to use the shuttle service. However, I ended up waiting an additional 1.5 hours for the shuttle, which was extremely inconvenient and frustrating. Throughout the experience, I had to repeatedly raise concerns just to receive assistance. This lack of efficiency and customer service is unacceptable. As a result of this experience, this will be the first and last time I take my vehicle to this branch for servicing. They did not even stamp my service book which basically means that I need to make a trip just for them to stamp my book!

what an absolute nightmare!!! bought a vehicle that wasnt roadworthy from Durban South 2 years ago and im still have drama due to *********** staff. dealer principal Raj wont step in and assist. Car was given to me with a broken seatbelt and no spare key. Mala told me as I was leaving that i must make a key!!! eventually after months they "found" the spare key but ultimately would have wanted me to waste my money. then the rust was picked up 2 months after purhase and never resolved. I am expected to beg and do the jobs!!! now there is more rust and i must beg again. lets return this car & refund my money. i wont be treated like this!!!

Bought a 2006 Hyundai Getz from Hyundai Durban South. Used the car for less than 50kms. Oil started leaking out of every place possible. When we took the car back to the dealership after 3 days. They refused to take the car back or help in any way. DON'T EVER BUY A CAR FROM HYUNDAI

I financed a Hyundai Grand i10 through WesBank from Hyundai Durban South. I signed the contract on 21 May 2025, and the vehicle was delivered on 5 June. When it arrived, it was missing all basic delivery requirements: no number plates, no license disc, no temporary permit, no aerial, no car mats, no service book, and not even an electronic copy of my signed contract, which I have been asking for since the day I signed. I clearly informed the salesman that I intended to use the car for e-hailing, and he promised to assist with the licensing. When I followed up, he completely denied making that promise. Since then, I have been the one doing all the follow-ups. The dealership never initiates communication or provides clear feedback. Because of the missing documents, I cannot register or insure the vehicle, and I couldn’t file a police report after it was vandalized. Despite all this, I am now expected to pay my first instalment on a vehicle I cannot legally use. This matter is now in the hands of MIOSA (Ref: 507514) and will also be reported to the National Consumer Commission. I am deeply disappointed with the level of service and lack of accountability.

I am disgusted by the services received at Hyundai Durban Central. I purchased a vehicle cash and was asked to pay upfront before the vehicle could arrive at the dealership from Midrand. It was supposedly a "brand new" vehicle, which I noticed before driving off the dealership had scratches on the roof area, just above the passenger/driver side. I brought this to the sales agent who assured me that this would be sorted within 2hrs. Arrangements was made and I dropped off the vehicle only to have it returned 8hrs later and not up to standard. I e-mailed and called the dealer principle with no feedback from him directly. I am now having to play the ping pong game of following up and calling to find out when this is going to be sorted. I was told that a substitute deal will be offered-which was later rejected. Today I get notified that they will not sort out the scratches as the quotation is too much. Again no direct feedback from the dealer principle!!! It seems, paying R360k cash (after trading in my vehicle) is not much of a big deal to the dealer principle!!!
