I am writing to formally summarize the matter regarding the vehicle I purchased from Hyundai Lenasia on 01 December 2023, and to request your assistance in addressing the ongoing dispute. Background of the Transaction • The agreed purchase price of the vehicle was R280,000, with a step-up instalment of approximately R5,500 per month. • At the time of purchase, I was promised a cash-back incentive by the sales representative via written communication (WhatsApp), which I was informed I would receive upon taking a new i20. However, this cash back was never received, and no explanation has been provided. • Upon reviewing my finance agreement while preparing to trade in the vehicle, I discovered that the financed amount reflected is R338,000, which is significantly higher than the agreed purchase price. Attempts to Resolve • On 04 February 2026, I contacted Hyundai Head Office and spoke to Elizabeth, who requested that I submit an email detailing the matter. I comp****, but no feedback or resolution has been provided to date. • On 20 February 2026, I visited the dealership and spoke to the Sales Manager, Juphter. I was informed that they could not assist me because he was not the salesperson who handled my purchase. No further assistance or investigation was offered. Current Situation Recently, I received communication from the dealer stating that the transaction was concluded by Amaya Motor Holdings and not Springs Car Wholesalers, and that I should refer the matter to the “correct holding company.” I wish to clarify that I purchased the vehicle directly from Hyundai Lenasia, and all documentation, including the sales agreement and finance contract, reflects Hyundai Lenasia as the dealership. I had no dealings with Amaya Motor Holdings or Springs Car Wholesalers, and I was not made aware of their involvement at any stage. It is therefore unreasonable to expect me, as the consumer, to pursue other entities that were never disclosed during the transaction. My understanding is that my agreement and relationship remain with the dealership that sold me the vehicle. Assistance Requested I respectfully request your assistance in: 1. Investigating why the financed amount is significantly higher than the agreed purchase price and providing a full breakdown of all charges. 2. Addressing the promised cash-back incentive that was confirmed in written communication but never received. 3. Holding the dealership accountable for proper disclosure and consumer protection compliance, including any misrepresentation or non-disclosure of fees or incentives. 4. Ensuring a fair resolution that corrects any financial prejudice resulting from the inflated balance or unfulfilled promises. I have acted in good faith throughout this process, and I kindly request your support in ensuring this matter is resolved fairly and transparently. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your assistance.

Stay away from this dealership since it operates *********ly and will go out of the way to swindle money from pensioners without blinking twice. My father who is a pensioner, was ******** by a Service Consultant called Vasha who asked my pensioner father to replace a part that was not supposed to be replaced in the first place (just to make a quick buck out of him and taking advantage of his old age) and sadly the same part that was replaced did not resolve my dad's mechanical challenge. I called the Principal Dealer, Shameem Kadir, and related how my dad was treated. Bizarrely, Shameem Kadir informed me that the dealership "acted within its rights" to change my dad's part (though it didn't solve his problem) and mentioned that when they solve customer's car mechanical challenges, they use "process of elimination" to get to the bottom of the fault hence they might change a part that might not solve the problem. When I challenged the latter statement and asked what is the use of the diagnostic machine?! Why would they use "process of elimination" because clearly this will be very expensive towards their customers?!. He simply retorted that the dealership demonstrated their values and acted within its rights. He further advised me that I can take the matter further (to institute a legal claim and report the matter to Hyundai South Africa) which is the action I will gladly take!

Beware of Hyundai Lenesia's ********* sales practices I recently purchased a car from Hyundai Lenesia, and I strongly advise others to think twice before dealing with them. The sales team, led by Sales Manager Mr. Sphelele Mbatha and Sales Executive Carol, misled me into paying for a tracker installation without my consent. During negotiations, Mr. Mbatha mentioned a tracker package with a panic button for R2600, but never clarified it was just an installation fee. The tracking company will require monthly payments, for activation. When I tried to resolve the issue, the sales team became unresponsive, and the dealership's management is unreachable. Their lack of transparency and accountability is appalling. I've been left with an unactivated tracker, and my car's security is compromised. I'll be reporting this to MIOSA and taking further action. Do not trust Hyundai Lenesia with your business.Their sales practices are *********, and they'll take advantage of you.

Had a pending deal on a used Mercedes Benz B Class, long story short, money was transferred to the dealership on the 25 October 2025, to this day I'm eagerly waiting MY REFUND from the 29th October 2025 till now! When I phone the dealership, I'm given lengthly explanations whereas my bank account has NO refund from the dealership. I hope someone had warned me NOT to conduct any deal with them

I am not happy at all last week Tuesday 2nd September my car was towed to them by Msure from motolek and we spoke to vash on the phone me and Calvin from msure tell them why we bring the car to them, The car is on warranty booster with msure and hyundai and the only problem on the car is oil cooler and the reason I am saying that it’s because the car is driving perfectly no engine light or overheating but the car is mixing oil and coolant so till date I don’t have my car with me and haven’t heard anything from hyundai Lenasia when I ask Vash she’s says technician haven’t said anything to her so I guess I’ll still have to wait and when I ask for a courtesy car they tell me they don’t offer that.
