Pooja I must say you deserve an award for the most arrogant rude person. You don't deserve to be in service. U don't take into consideration the client. No you want to protect the panel beater. Instead of assisting a client. Why don't you go work for a panel shop. You have not an ounce of professionalism or standards. Disgusting service from Hyundai and the DP doesn't even respond to emails. Darren blocks you so you cannot contact him and makes a statement contact the landline which never gets answered or assisted. Claudia answers and tells us to email the Dp. When saying he doesn't respond she too get rude and arrogant. Is this the standard Hyundai has?

I have a 4 year old Hyundai Venue with low mileage that has rust in the engine compartment near the engine mounting which is VERY unsafe for me to be driving the vehicle to work and to drop my child off at school. Hyundai Umhlanga refuses to give me a courtesy vehicle whilst the rust gets sorted on my car - I bought the vehicle to go to work, without the vehicle how do I go to work in order to pay for the vehicle? The rust is not my fault as Hyundai even said to me that the Venues have a rust problem so why should I now be inconvenienced for something that is not my fault. I know for a fact a courtesy vehicle was given to my colleague from Hyundai Umhlanga when he had a problem with the brakes on his new Venue. Another friend had rust sorted on the roof of her grand i10 at Durban South Hyundai and they gave her a courtesy vehicle. This is my 3rd Hyundai, I have had an i20 and an Elantra before my Venue, I have been loyal to the brand but Hyundai is not appreciative of their customers and make no effort to retain their loyal customers. I am very unimpressed and will never buy another Hyundai again. I will also ensure I will make it known on every available social media platform that this is what you can expect to experience from Hyundai.

Public Complaint: Hyundai South Africa / Hyundai Umhlanga I am placing this on public record due to ongoing concerns regarding the handling of my Hyundai Creta by Hyundai Umhlanga and Hyundai Automotive South Africa. The vehicle experienced a sudden and complete loss of power without warning. There were no abnormal noises, no warning lights, and no prior drivability issues. The vehicle had recently passed a health check and was booked for routine service the following day. After the incident, the dealership advised that the catalytic converter had failed. At the same time, Hyundai stated in writing that this type of failure: is not visible during servicing does not register on diagnostics is not serviceable can occur suddenly and intermittently Despite this, responsibility was indirectly attributed to a supposed prior condition, based on comments allegedly made by a tow truck driver. This assertion is formally disputed and contradicted by: the vehicle owner, an additional eyewitness, the absence of any diagnostic faults, and the vehicle being released after service with no warnings or advisories. If a defect is, by Hyundai’s own admission, undetectable and non‑diagnosable, it is difficult to understand how prior owner awareness or negligence could reasonably be inferred. I am particularly concerned by: inconsistencies in Hyundai’s explanations, reliance on third‑party hearsay, and the absence of accountability for a safety‑critical failure. This matter has been escalated to: Retail Motor Industry Organisation (RMI) Motor Industry Ombudsman of South Africa (MIOSA) National Consumer Commission I share this publicly not to attack individuals, but to highlight a process that appears inconsistent and unfair, and to encourage transparency and consumer protection. PROOF CAN BE PROVIDED TO COUNTER THE LIES #HyundaiSouthAfrica #ConsumerProtection #VehicleSafety #MIOSA #RMI

I traded in my vehicle on the 19th February 2026 and signed my contract for my vehicle on the same day, however on picked up my new vehicle on the 23rd February. Today is the 04th March and I am told I cannot get my funds for my trade in vehicle because the log book is not received yet. To my surprise I get an email stating the logbook was only requested today the 04th March 2026. Do not use the dealership they are full of empty promises. I am left with funds which are mine but the accountant holds it ransom.
