I traded in my vehicle on the 19th February 2026 and signed my contract for my vehicle on the same day, however on picked up my new vehicle on the 23rd February. Today is the 04th March and I am told I cannot get my funds for my trade in vehicle because the log book is not received yet. To my surprise I get an email stating the logbook was only requested today the 04th March 2026. Do not use the dealership they are full of empty promises. I am left with funds which are mine but the accountant holds it ransom.

Had an amazing experience at Hyundai Umhlanga Branch I Traded In My Kwid For A Hyundai Grand 10..The Sales Person Was So Awesome And Helpful He Exceeded All My Expectations And Turn Around Was Quick. I Wanted A Specific Color And The Umhlanga Branch Didn't Have It. So He Sourced It From Another Branch. On Delivery Day Everything Was Done So Professional And Personalized I Felt So Special And Proud. I Even Received A Gift. I'm so glad to be apart of the Hyundai Family. Keep Up The Good work Guys👌❤️ #BLACKFRIDAY

We performed an immediate payment on the 07 November 2025 at 11:15 to,Hyundai Umhlanga.Its now 08 November 2025 at 11:54.The salesman is still waiting for the accountants to state the money gas been received

I am disgusted with the survice from Hyundai - at Umhlangan. I bought my car on the 30th of April 2025. Collected it on the 2nd of May 2025. I was told that the car has a survive plan. To Mt surprise today it does not have it any more it has expired. Yet I called them yesterday (20th October 2025) the lady I spoke to told me I might have to pay in a penalty because I have exceeded the mileage. Today when I get there they tell me that it has expired. This is something that was meant to be communicated yesterday. I have waisted my petrol. I was also not told that the survice plan has expired. She told me that this one I will have to day will be the last one there after I have to pay for. She will get a sales person to contact me regarding continuation of the survice plan. I'm truly disappointed and very upset. Survice is very important for a car. Such negligence should be tolarater.

I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with the service I’ve received from Hyundai Umhlanga. As a loyal Hyundai customer who has purchased three vehicles from them, I expected a certain level of professionalism, care, and customer service — but what I’ve experienced over the past month has been absolutely pathetic. I have taken my vehicle back FOUR times in the space of a month for the same recurring issue. The car is still under warranty, yet the technicians cannot diagnose or fix the problem. My vehicle gets kept for over a week each time, and every time I get it back, the issue remains unresolved. What makes it worse is the complete lack of communication. I’ve called multiple times to speak to the service advisor or a manager — only to be told they are "busy with a customer" and that I’d be called back. I left my details repeatedly, but no one ever returned my calls. I also sent an email regarding my issue and, to date, I have received no response whatsoever. I requested a diagnostic report — a very basic request — and this too has not been provided. To make matters even worse, I escalated the matter to Hyundai South Africa, hoping for intervention, but I’ve received no feedback from them either. The service is unacceptable, and the lack of accountability is disgraceful. How can a dealership take a customer’s vehicle for weeks at a time, repeatedly fail to fix a fault, not communicate, and completely ignore follow-ups and formal complaints? Hyundai Umhlanga has completely failed me as a customer. I expected more, especially after my continued support over the years. I would strongly caution others considering using this service centre — their after-sales service is beyond pathetic. I now demand proper escalation, a resolution to my vehicle’s issue, and clear communication.

Extremely pathetic service from Tristan in the used vehicles department after an hour long conversation with him yesterday my wife and I were thrilled to sign and take delivery of the 2025 renailt triber zen 1.0 they insisted that there was no stock of the blue and said they only had silver so we agreed upon arrival today at 12:00 midday we were informed that the vehicle is on its way from Richardson bay but in the orange colour to which we disagreed as as we agreed on an 8 year installment period for the vehicle and was already settled on that colour since that hour Tristan had informed us that the car is on its way so I waited at gateway with my 2 year old and 3 year old both became exhausted and still filled with the idea that we would be driving our kids home in their very own brand new vehicle we waited and waited and was continuously **** to by Tristan I waited all the way up until 16:00 until I realized that we were being **** to he did not answer our calls when we were calling and played us for fools the entire day seeing us there with our kids I feel he looked at us as desperate and treated us as if they were going to pay the installments for us this man has no sense of respect for clients and he should be dealt with
