Food is above average and big portions!
Had my sister's birthday at iL Fornos Alberton and asked them to put helium baloons that I bought on her chair before we get there to surprise her. When we got there they made it even more special and put confetti over our table and changed the table cloth to different colour, played her the happy birthday song and gave her a shooter on the house. You guys are amazing!!! You get delicious, big portioned food for the price you pay. All our gatherings will be held there from now onwards, that is how impressed I we are with them!!! Well done!!!

Best Food and Service Ever
IL Forna has the most friendliest staff / waiters with great attitudes. Their food are above the rest. Great work. And Tony is an exceptional person who cares about his customers. I would highly recommend people to dine at IL Forno Alberton.<br> <br>

Best Food and Service Ever

Il Forno - disgusting
Went to Il Forno in Alberton for our wedding anniversary last night. Waited 45 minutes for starters that came at the same time as the main course. Requested well done meat on the steak roll - came under-done. Second dish - Steak was advertised as 280 - 300 grams - lucky if it was 100 grams. Requested it well done - still cold and red in the middle. Steak full of sinew and tough took it home for the dog. Disgusting food, miserable waiter. Will never go back as we had a similar experience there last Wednesday. Amazing that places think they can serve this rubbish to paying customers. Used to be our favourite place and we travelled from Boksburg as well.
