<p>Went to harvest grill at Carnival City on Saturday 18 Febuary. ordered a 300 gram rump steak. When it arrived it was the smallest steak ever seen. Smaller than the palm of your hand. Half of that was fat. Steak was raw, cold and not cooked as ordered. Sent it back - same **** was brought back just with extra chips. Told them to remove the rubbish from my table and walked out. Would not even serve that rubbish to my dog. managment's handling of the situation was a disgrace. Will never ever return to the dump and will definitely tell eveyone I know of the rubbish that is served to paying customers. Places like this should be closed down and reported to the authorities. what sort of place cannot even cook a steak? Ruined a good evening and totally ****ed off.</p>
This is the second time that my wife has ordered take-away's and when opening it at home it is not what was ordered. Yesterday my wife ordered Beef Schnitzel but the order was ignored and she was given chicken Schnitzel. Why do they bother giving you a menu if they are gong to give you what they want to and not what you order? The last time I complained about a similar issue. I was offered a free meal which i did not take them up on as I complain to get the service sorted out, not to get a freebie. Please don't bother phoning me with any pathetic excuses and promises as this was the last straw - i will never set foot in another Spur in my life. I have already destroyed my \SPUR"card."""
My wife went in for an operation at the Sunward Park Netcare hospital. After the operation a pipe was left in her throat and she could not breathe. After struggling and battling to breathe one of the sisters said, \oh - they left this pipe in her throat"as if it was no big deal. Went to Supersport bar on Friday night to watch Ballyhoo. Service was pathetic. Tried to order food - waitress never came back with the menu. Tried to get a cold beer - something they have never heard of. Complained to the \manager"and he just shook his head and walked off. Perhaps he needs to be reminded who pays his salary. How can a bar not have cold beer? How can customers be ignored when they try to order. What is going on with the management of this place? they seriously need to wake up. """
I have never in my life dealt with such a useless company. I bought a Top Mop at Game and went to get a replacement head which they do not stock. Went to the East rand mall to the Home Mark shop and they do not have stock either and they cannot advise when they will be getting stock. Phone the useless call centre at 011 444 8800 and they put the phone down in your ear. How can you not stock replacement parts? I wasted my time going to Game and then the East Rand Mall and paying for parking all for nothing. I demand feedback and a solution to my problem - this is pathetic.
So glad to read on this site (and others) that i am not the only person that is totally disgusted with the decision to close the Odeon Showbar at the end of April. Now there will be nothing for the spouses to do while the other partner gambles - greed will be the downfall of Emperors. The cigar bar is a total joke - R30 minimum for a beer? No wonder there is never more than 3 people in there. Also it is a smoking venue so where are we supposed to go when the Odeon closes? I suppose I will just have to travel to carnival instead. may your new gambling den fail dismally so that management can see how pathetic their decision is.
Emperors palace casino is a joke. machines are constantly offline and the machines are programmed not to pay out. Staff are extremely rude and complaints are not attended to at all. The gambling board needs to made aware of how this casino is ripping the public off. it is no longer a pleasure going to this dump as all they do is raise your stress levels and upset your outing. Staff need to be sent on training on how to deal with the public as they have got no idea on how to deal with PAYING customers. Perhaps when Sun International takes over things will imrpove!
Went to Ocean Basket at Emperors Palace on Sunday night 29 March. We were a table of four and the food was a disgrace - fish tiny and dry, cold and withered. Chips had been reheated numerous times and were disgusting. It is amazing that rubbish like this can be served. Last time I will ever go there.
Went to Il Forno in Alberton for our wedding anniversary last night. Waited 45 minutes for starters that came at the same time as the main course. Requested well done meat on the steak roll - came under-done. Second dish - Steak was advertised as 280 - 300 grams - lucky if it was 100 grams. Requested it well done - still cold and red in the middle. Steak full of sinew and tough took it home for the dog. Disgusting food, miserable waiter. Will never go back as we had a similar experience there last Wednesday. Amazing that places think they can serve this rubbish to paying customers. Used to be our favourite place and we travelled from Boksburg as well.
