Good service from Joseph in Johannesburg
<p>After some delays with having our parcel delivered, Joseph (the operations manager in Jhb) made a plan and had our parcel delivered on Sa****ay morning. Thank you! </p>

Loss of High Value Item
I recently purchased a laptop online from a private seller. The item was booked with Imperial Express for collection by the seller on 4 Feb 2016. It was collected on Friday 5 Feb. On Tuesday 9 Feb 2016 I tracked the package online and noticed it was still in Cape Town. I phoned the Cape Town branch of Imperial Express and asked for some feedback. Raffik promised to phone me back, but never did so. on Wednesday 10 Feb I phoned the Cape Town branch again and was informed the package has gone missing. In fifteen years of online purchasing this was the first lost package. How do you loose a laptop? No apology, no manager phoning to explain, just \We lost it\". I would never recommend Imperial Express to anybody."

Failure to deliver after making promises
We are a retail company that ships goods from our store to clients directly using Imperial Express on a regular basis. i placed an order for delivery, a Johannesburg delivery which takes 1 Business day as we are located in Sandton. After making several enquiries on the delivery, it was stated that the driver could not find the address, and the stock was taken back to the depot. Upon further investigation i was promised to have delivery again in the evening at 8 PM to which i notified my client. This delivery was not even placed. I called Imperial Express in the morning after i was notified that delivery was not made by the client, who does not want to accept delivery any longer. As a result we have lost a client as well as the recurring business.

Poor Service all round
We have always had very good service from Ewc Couriers but since they have become Imperial Express the service has become shocking. Our parcels have been lost, without anybody notifying us. Non collection of our parcels. We have to phone 3 or 4 times for our goods to be collected. When they are collected they are delivered more than a week later. The drivers are extremely rude to our staff. The staff handling our account never return our calls. Our parcels from Joburg to Durban arrive damaged. We have witnessed the drivers throwing our goods into the delivery vehicle, its no wonder they arrive damaged. When we ask the drivers not to throw are parcels into the truck, they pass rude comments. I have lodged a complaint with the branch manager Sandra Smith, who replied a few days later to say she was out of the office, that was on the 21st May and have not heard from her since. When I have tried calling her, she will not take my calls. This is regarding our outstanding parcels that have not been delivered and also our lost parcel.

I needed important legal documents sent up from Cape Town on a Saturday to reach Pretoria by the Monday, so as to be stamped by the attorneys, High Court and then be received by Supreme Court of Appeals in Bloemfontein still on the same day. Massive pressure with horrific consequences if it didn't go to plan. ECW unfortunately promised that they could handle the job and gave assurance, provided we supplied them with proof of payment before a certain time on the Friday. Traveling back from the Eastern Cape, I spoke my wife through the process and thanks to technology we kept our side, payment made and proof sent, all while driving. Elmarie confirmed proof received, driver would be there before 12 on Sat. I waited from 8am, from 11am started calling their offices. 3 of us phoning at the same time, supposedly they close at 2pm, nobody answered. was able to get hold of another company, they did the job perfectly, but meant I had to drive out to airport area Sunday morning. ECW claim their driver \forgot"according to GM Keagan Botha"
