Invicta roofing is low class - avoid
I had a bad experience as well, similar to Andres bad experience. There is no guarantee, Alan doesnt come back to fix when the work wasnt 100% complete, he doesnt respond to messages. Alan Hopper is rude to his customers, as to most people, and has poor workmanship. He just charges a high price, spends and hour or 2 on the job and leaves. Alan hopper is very unprofessional, low class, architects and builders avoid him. As architects we cant deal with such terrible service and attitude. Most builders in the area have had bad experiences with him and dont use him. Please avoid Alan and Invicta roofing.

Invicta Roofing: poor workmanship and bad experience
Second review after first was removed: Very poor quality of work and after-service follow up was worse and then non-existent. The workers returned twice to finish off the poor job but on both occasions failed to complete the work properly and as per agreed specs before the work. Much vaunted "5 year workmanship guarantee" is not honoured, even though Alan promised to return and meet with me (but then refused to respond to messages). Bad experience, Invicta is best avoided.

Invicta Roofing - empty promises and sub-standard work
Bad experience. Did not deliver on promises , including much vaunted "5 year work guarantee" when required. Roof was not installed properly in high wind area and I was told that I will have to pay for further material (roof *****s). Workers came back twice but failed to complete required, agreed corrective work and were more intent on clocking home at 4.30pm each time. Alan advised that he can "argue all day" - and he can! Better choice for roofer on the Cape Peninsula would have been Steve Gough.

Worst service ever experienced in my 65 years
Very disappointing. Invicta was employed to fix a leaking roof. They told us the roof needed to be replaced which we agreed to. When the leaks continued, Alan Hopper of Invicta, ducked and dived and when we then did what he said was still outstanding it was impossible to meet with him - only a time suitable to him was put forward. He was extremely rude and turned everything around to us being aggressive and our tenants setting their dog on him! It is easier to walk away and pay someone else to stop the leaks than to deal with this arrogant, bad mannered man.

Terrible 'Service'
I called Alan on his mobile number, as listed on the website. I explained (or at least, attempted to,) a gutter leakage problem we needed repaired, but he kept cutting me off and asking questions about the size of the hole, which I didn't know. He said "we don't do gutters", despite it being a service clearly listed on their website. He further said "there's no money in it" and "he won't waste his time coming out to even look at it" because "it costs more to fix than is worth it for him." And on & on it went. I suggested that they change their website to reflect that they don't do guttering to which he replied "yeah, maybe I'll do that" followed by an immediate "bye", after which he simply put the phone down on me. His tone was obnoxious and patronising and clearly, somehow, he must be making enough money with his apparent sham of a company to not bother employing any tact or actual service. I'm completely put off and recommend that nobody use them at all. Shocking treatment from a disinterested, blatantly rude man. AVOID THEM LIKE THE PLAGUE folks.

GREAT RE-ROOFING WORK
Great service from Alan Hopper.Needed re-roofing on my granny flat.Prompt service from Invicta Roofing.Did a superb job in record time.Fixed a number of problems caused by local roofing \experts"that have ripped me off in the past.Will definitely use Invicta again.Did a superb job in budget and his staff had an execelent"
