This is like home away from home. The place is magnificent and staff is exceptionally friendly. They really over board to ensure that your stay is pleasant, comfortable and filled with awesome memories. I will definitely keep coming back.

I am so disgusted by this hotel. They made a double booking for venue hiring where there was 2 baby showers taking place at the same time. We could not hear a thing that was being said Because the other group was was playing loud music and being rude. All in all there was a superior and inferior baby shower between the 2 and my one was designed by the hotel to be inferior as we were placed in a small hidden corner yet we were the ones who made the first booking. When I called the manager she never bothered to come, I confronted her before I left about their incompetence. She took no accountability whatsoever but instead blames her staff. When I said to her I am never coming back here she just said “okay no problem.” So I urge people to be careful before paying this hotel because they are not very organised and are greedy because their venue is not designed to host more than 1 event at a time. As long as you pay them, they don’t care about you. And by the way miss manager, you are not a 5 star hotel if you were you would need to be a 4,5 star and above, you are less which makes you a 4 star!

The service was SHOCKING! I booked a treatment package for myself and my sister and her husband, which I had arrenaged weeks before the treatment. 20 minutes before we were due to arrive at our appointment I recieved a call from them to say that the sauna wasn't working (for which I had to ASK for a refund-or else they would've happily charged me for a treatment I was not getting). I then got another call 15 minutes before saying that there was only 2 massage the******s in for the day and that I would have to wait over an hour for tem to finish before I would recieve my treatment and they would have had to wait over an hour for me to finish my treatments when they were done. The whole point was to spend time together as they were on holiday from Johannesburg. I was also told that the treatment package included facials which I found out on the day was not true. I tried to call the manager on duty, Linda, and niether myself nor the staff were able to get hold of her. I unfortunately got a voucher to use at another time as I did not have the time to go for my treatment and only our out of town guests were able to go for theirs. The lady at the hotel reception was the only helpful person there. It was an aweful experience.

I paid for a couples retreat treatment for my parents for my Moms birthday and I have not been able to book a treatment date. I call daily and they advise they will call me back but they don't. i spoke to both Bukelwa and Wabo who still haven't called me back. i tried getting hold of the manager but i am not sure if he won't return my call or the reception ladies are not putting through the message. You took my money but have no customer service.

I had a great experience at Isango Gate Boutique Hotel when I stayed for business in October 2020, until my My personal property was stolen from the hotel's storage. Staff failed to follow my request of taking my bag to my room, which I had left at the bar while Walter helped me with drinks. Staff gave me a run around when I traced what had happened, until Walter the GM informed me weeks later that my property was removed from reception to lost and found, from there to a 'meeting room' and from there it disappeared. To date senior management are dragging their feet in putting this stolen patron property matter to rest. What a shame. I do not think they care.

I had my graduation Lunch at Isango yesterday and was highly embarrassed at their level of service . The set up was late, the staff were dragging their feet, the food promised as per the menu did not live up to scratch as gourmet meals. The dessert was even worse and I have pictures. The website is so deceiving. The only thing good about it was my guests and the scenery. To top it off when I left i was called back by one of my guests saying the staff were saying i needed to pay for champagne which had been paid for TWO WEEKS AGO. sis on you ISANGO what you promise and what you deliver are totally different things.
