The best online Eastern and Jewellery Wear
Jayshree's online is the epitome of Superior customer service. I ordered Jewellery for my wedding online, and it arrived within 2 days (they are based in Durban and I am in JHB) . Not only did it arrive quickly but they also gave me a handwritten card to thank me for ordering from them, all the items were individually wrapped and packed in reusable containers in a reusable bag. Honestly, this type of care and attention to detail made me feel like they prepared my package with so much love and care, especially because the items are bridal Jewellery. I will always recommend them and happily use them in future for all my eastern Jewellery wear needs. They added to the joy and excitement of my upcoming wedding!

I would not recommend this store to anyone. I recently bought several items for an upcoming wedding, but due to an unexpected death in my family, I can no longer attend. When I contacted them to return the items, I was met with a rigid ‘7-day return policy’ excuse, which was never mentioned during the sale and is nowhere on their website. Despite explaining my situation, they refused to make any exceptions. This store seems quick to take your money, but when it comes to basic customer care and decency, they’re completely unhelpful and inflexible. They clearly care more about profits than people. Extremely disappointed.

I would not recommend this store to anyone. I recently bought several items for an upcoming wedding, but due to an unexpected death in my family, I can no longer attend. Very happy customer.
Ordered clothing on their online shop and I am not disappointed. Fast delivery, quality of the goods is good, packing immaculate. There was even a handwritten note thanking me for my purchase, you don't see that anymore these days. I need these clothes for a religious function in November and I know I will look immaculate. Thanks Jayshrees & Rivaz for the good service.

Very happy customer.
Ordered clothing on their online shop and I am not disappointed. Fast delivery, quality of the goods is good, packing immaculate. Disappointing sulky faces
I love their goods, but not the pushiness. As soon as you walk in, someone tags along like a shadow. Instead of leaving you in peace to shop, touch and decide, they foist their decisions onto you by telling you what will suit you. If you say you are just looking around, they get cross and all huffity puffity! Their snootiness shows a lack of respect because a twitch of their bum with their nose in the air tells it all. I didn't feel welcome or at ease. In fact they force you to place a deposit to secure the sari of your choice because they say it will get sold out if we don't put down a deposit. Their disdain for their clients really disappoints me.

I'm getting married and the very first store I decided to visit (big mistake), was Jayshrees in Chatsworth, Durban. As we walked in, an elderly employee asked us very harshly if we needed help (upset that customers had walked in, it seemed). We asked to have a look at their Bridal wear, to which she re-affirmed - "Bridal?". We were then asked what colour we were looking for, to which we replied red. She proceeded to show us a red outfit, which looked quite orange, and we proceeded to ask her for something darker. She asked if she could show us sarees - she pulls out the same colour - we ask for something darker - she then proceeds to get angry... showing us BLUE, GREEN, and ORANGE lehenga's (what I would wear as a guest), these are packed on a shelf - and says - "THESE ARE ALL BRIDAL COLOURS, LOOK ALL BRIDAL COLOURS. (pointing to the light blue, light green, etc) THATS A BRIDAL COLOUR(referring to the 'red' outfit). WHY DONT YOU JUST PUT IT ON AND SHOW HIM. THERES THE CHANGING ROOM - GO PUT IT ON AND SHOW HIM". To which we politely replied - 'no thanks Aunty" and walked out.

Awful customer service
Earlier this week I visited the store with my mother. We enter and as a customary we were greeted by and and employee and asked if we required assistance , the store attandand assist. But as we are browsing and do not require any immdetiate assistance I walk through the store where i am uncomfortable followed around the store by the assist.I will not go into detail of how unhappy i was with my experience but for a store assistant to talk about customers while they are still within ear shot is utterly disgusting.
