MAKRO – Paid in full for a fridge online, still not delivered (false delivery claims, no response). I purchased a fridge from MAKRO online and paid in full. I received an invoice, but the fridge has not been delivered. Delivery promised, on or before the 24th of January 2026. MAKRO has claimed there were three delivery attempts, which is simply untrue. No one arrived, no notice was left, and there was no contact. I requested proof of these alleged attempts and the forwarder/courier information (tracking/waybill details, dates and times, failed-delivery reports, etc.). MAKRO has not provided any forwarder information or evidence. To make matters worse, MAKRO has not responded to my formal email complaint—not even an acknowledgement of receipt and no updates at all. This is poor service and unacceptable conduct: taking full payment, failing to deliver, then making blatant claims about delivery attempts without evidence and ignoring the customer. I am now pursuing cancellation and a full refund. I want MAKRO to: - Confirm the order is cancelled, - Confirm the refund has been initiated, and - Provide the forwarder/tracking evidence if they continue to allege "three attempts". Avoid unless you want to chase your own delivery and spend your time fighting for a refund, as it will likely never be processed anyway.
Early November 2025, I visited your Vanderbijlpark branch to have a slow puncture repaired on my Nissan NP200 (left rear tyre). I was advised by your staff that the tyre wear was "unacceptable" and that both rear tyres needed to be replaced. I asked for: • A quotation for two new tyres; and • The slow puncture needs to be repaired. I received the quotation. However, I was then informed by a staff member that my spare wheel was fitted in its place because they were "not comfortable" with the wear. (For context, these tyres are approximately 15 months old with ±35,000 km.) No costs were charged, and I assumed that the slow puncture was repaired. Two weeks later, I experienced a slow puncture on one of my front tyres. I planned to use my spare wheel and have the puncture repaired at my local petrol station. To my surprise, the spare tyre (which I had requested to be repaired) was utterly flat. The petrol station repaired the tyre removed by Tiger Wheel & Tyre and found a ±2 cm aluminium nail causing the puncture. This indicates that the original slow puncture was not repaired at the Vanderbijlpark branch; it was swapped with my spare wheel, and I left the premises with a flat spare tyre—without being advised of this. On Wednesday, 10 December 2025, I gave Tiger Wheel & Tyre a second opportunity. My wife's Mahindra TUV300 required a wheel alignment. Once again, I was told the tyre wear was "unacceptable" (the tyres have approximately 75,000 km and are about three years old) and that I needed to purchase four new tyres. I requested that the alignment be done first and that I be provided with a quotation for four new tyres. The staff refused to perform the alignment unless I purchased tyres, and they gave me all kinds of mysterious explanations about overall tyre wear. I asked again for a quotation, but none was provided. I therefore left, confused and disappointed by the refusal to assist. I want to note that the main reason I continued supporting Tiger Wheel & Tyre was because of Ms Channe Van Den Berg, whom I have dealt with since 2018 (when she was at Thomas Tyres). I have always valued her customer service and consistent, professional service delivery. I did not see or speak to her and was assisted by two male staff members. The following day, I visited Supa Quick in Magaliesburg. The alignment was completed in approximately 10 minutes for R400, and I was advised that no new tyres were required.
This company is a complete ****. I purchased on 24.07.2025 a generator only to discover that this company does not exist. The VAT number is indeed registered to a company called GenSet SA, and I have opened a case at SAPS for ***** and informed my bank about the *****ulent activities of GenSet SA, which they are currently investigating. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY.
Ordered clothing on their online shop and I am not disappointed. Fast delivery, quality of the goods is good, packing immaculate. There was even a handwritten note thanking me for my purchase, you don't see that anymore these days. I need these clothes for a religious function in November and I know I will look immaculate. On Thursday 24 February my wife went to Chamberlain Strubens Valley to look for paint samples, we are currently renovating our house and have spend around R. 30k over the last 2 weeks at Chamberlain. The service received at the paint department was below what I call "professional and educated". The available staff members were more interested to continue with their discussion related to their visit(s) to the local strip club in the presence of my wife. After my wife complained about the poor language, the answer was "this is men's talk". No apology or excuses. Surely Chamberlain, you can do better than that? Don't you train your staff members? Is it that difficult for your male staff to behave like educated men in your store in the presence of women? Secondly: Why couldn't my wife buy any small sample paint cans to try out at home? Your competitors sell these for about R. 70 a can and then at home you can check if this is what you want. Chamberlain doesn't provide this service. Why not? Sorry but after this negative experience I will take the remainder of my renovation somewhere else.
Because of the order value I was somewhat hesitant to place an order with an online company. Well, I am not disappointed. The delivery was quick and the quality of the product was excellent, I am very happy working with this company and will certainly buy my T15 accessories from them when I need them.
I ordered Ethanol Absolute Alcohol 99.9% - 2.5 Lt Plastic Bottle at Chemlab Supplies on the 16.03.2020. I paid R. 855.00 with order no. 42139. Never received my goods. When you contact them you receive a ticket no. and they come back in 24 hours? It is now almost 4 months and no communication. They don't even reply to the emails anymore. Avoid this company and go somewhere else, they take your money and disappear. Bad, bad, bad.

Yes, I contacted them and then every time you receive a ticket no. and they get back to you in 24 hours. Well, it is now almost 4 months and still nothing. They could refund the money if they can't deliver or at least communicate properly. This is fraud, you can't accept payments and simply walk away and not deliver. Bad, bad bad. Don't do business with them rather go somewhere else. .
