This company is the worst in their line of work, i moved in their property in March, the place was dirty had to clean it myself, it wasn't revamped from the previous occupants, constantly asked for maintenance and the building manager ignored me every time, i then decided enough was enough so i moved out, now they don't want to pay my deposit back on top of that they i must pay them but upon moving out everything was settled, am utterly disappointed i wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy.

I leave in Carr Gardens in a complex owned by JHC in Fordsburg for a year and I decide to leave because I was ****** in the complex and in front of 3 security guards who were comfortable sitting in there office without a care in the world. I was ****** by 4 men in a car that they had allowed to enter the complex and according to the security guards, had been parked there for over an hour. My mugging was very suspicious because 1st they did not quest why these men were parked there for so long, secondly these men only got of the car when I dropped off from work yet there were other people who had been standing there for a while and they did not try to rob them. 3rd the security guards only came out when the vehicle had left the complex and they were looking at me being mug through this whole time. I complained to management and they said a 'sorry' as usually people think sorry solved anything. The security company said they will investigate and I have never gotten any update from that investigation to date. This my deal breaker on top of the unhygienic conditions my children and I had been living under for almost a year because the building was infested by pest and ****roaches and not one bothers to fumigate for over a year. I opted to move out so I headed to the office give them on the 1st of July 2024. I moved out end July and in August I received the last statement form them with a water bill of R144.45. 6 months later I am getting an email with a collections letter stating that I owe then R4900 that does not specify what the charges are for. When I call the women I spoke to then tells me about how they spent R3000 painting the unit electrical what what. Mind you my husband went there 2 times to meet with the care tacker so that they would access the unit together and he would tell us what we were going to be charged for and he still has the messages from him that he looked at the unit and there were no charges they were just going to paint the u it from there end. We left it at that because. I have never received any communication in for of email or phone call from this company that they are any charges I needed to pay for or that I own them anything. Then all of a sudden a letter is demand is issued by there collections team. When we called the care taker and ask him what are these charges in the letter of demand he said he has no ideas what we are being charged for because he did not submit anything. So my question is who is fooling who right now. How can they decide to renovate their building at our expense when we were clearly told there were no charges and nobody informed us of anything prior to the letter of demand. I was very disappointed with JHC before moving out but now I realize these people are good at reaping off people. I want communication with there management not there customer service because they ate hopeless 😤

They will harras you the whole month even if you don't have historical debt! They switch off services like water or electricity. The take keys and you leave in an open flat with kids in this high rated crime & **** country. Mind you: it is the 28th, 2 days before month end. You write an email asking them to quote the law that allows them to do this, they give you an asinine answer not related. Which law allows minors not to have basic needs whole day? Again, no historical debt!

I recently interacted with Macy who i believe is an agent at Lake success building . The lady was very rude and also accused me of submitting **** documents. I was offended by that statement hence i decided to contact the office and i spoke to Olivia Ngobeni. She informed me to resubmit the documents so she can send my application. Within 2 days i received a letter that i was approved and very happy . I would like to thank Olivia for great service , good communication skill and excellent professionalism. People like Marcy are paining a bad picture and also she must not think that every foreign national uses **** documents as i am able to take this matter further but i chose not to . Thank you so much Olivia , looking forward to having a great stay at Lakesuccess.

I was a tenant at Heritage view apartment at Newtown, my car was ****** on the 24 July 2023, the company seems not to help, they are busy sympathizing with me without any help... The company have Securities and cameras working 24/7, I feel like The people who stole my car had connection with the security company as well as the building because those Tsotsis they did not break the gate to get inside but they were allowed by security guards who were on duty that night. I have a footage that I got from their office but my problem is the building doesn't want to be held accountable for their securities actions... I'm frustrated as I can't recover my car, and also the car tracker is failing to recover my vehicle, the matter was reported to the police station immediately after finding out that my car has been ****** but still I don't get any help from anyone and I'm alone in this situation, the building is not assisting as they are the ones who appointed the Security company (LADY-T security company). Hello Peter please assist I'm being treated unfairly and I'm dying inside. I feel like the building is distancing themselves from this matter by saying the tenant" Park at their own risk" while I'm paying the parking fee and security fee everymonth but I end up not being assisted because my concern is that those perpetrators was having the full access through their security they've appointed.they didn't even report the matter on time while the screen camera was there in front of them and they saw everything because the cameras are operating 24/7.

I was a tenant at Heritage view apartment at Newtown, my car was ****** on the 24 July 2023, the company seems not to help, they are busy sympathizing with me without any help... The company have Securities and cameras working 24/7, I feel like The people who stole my car had connection with the security company as well as the building because those Tsotsis they did not break the gate to get inside but they were allowed by security guards who were on duty that night. I have a footage that I got from their office but my problem is the building doesn't want to be held accountable for their securities actions... I'm frustrated as I can't recover my car, and also the car tracker is failing to recover my vehicle, the matter was reported to the police station immediately after finding out that my car has been ****** but still I don't get any help from anyone and I'm alone in this situation, the building is not assisting as they are the ones who appointed the Security company (LADY-T security company). JHC locked me out of my apartment without any prior notice. They changed the locks when no one was home. I got back to a locked apartment. This is so inhumane and I have nowhere to sleep. Guys!!! you need to attend to me ASAP. You do not lock doors when the tenant is not there, without prior notice, on a weekend. This is absolutely unacceptable.

As a tenant at Phumlani gardens under JHC I'm being treated unfairly, to whoever who wants to stay at JHC I'll advise you don't even try. We are being insulted treated badly in every way to everyone reading this don't stay at JHC.
