At the end of April, my mom went into Joleys and purchased a pair of shoes, which she was told were on promotion and therefore she will be getting them cheaper. Now my mom is 88 and it isn't easy to get to the shops as she lives in a retirement village and can only catch the bus when they go which is on a Wednesday once a week and they have a limited time to do their shopping. Anyway so she bought these shoes and went home. When she got home she tried them on again and found that they didn't fit. Now she was going away so she couldn't get back to Joleys, but as soon as she was back from her holiday she went to Joleys with her shoes in the box, which had the shoe type on as well as it had Joleys name on the box, but she unfortunately had misplaced the slip. When she got there, they tell her they won't take them back because they were sale shoes and she has no slip. These were not sale shoes, they were on promotion. There is a difference between sale and promotion!!!! Not sure if the staff know that? My mom tells them she will take another pair of shoes and she is even willing to pay in the difference of the other shoes, but they refuse point blank, that they won't take them back without the slip. So she says that other shops would and they tell her no place will take anything back without the slip. Joleys you need to know if you are prepared to take anything in exchange they will. They then laugh at my mom when she walks out. I then got involved and had an unpleasant experience with both the staff at the shop as well as at their head office, where at the head office, the lady who I was speaking to actually put the phone down on me!!!!!! This is shocking behaviour and can't believe a place such as Joleys with such a renowned way would act in this way. I'm shocked and disgusted that Joleys staff have deteriorated to such a degree. I'm shocked that they would laugh at an elderly lady. I'm shocked that they could be so rude and put the phone down on someone who might be a would be client. I then phoned back again and tried to speak to the owner of Joleys and my call was ignored. Joleys many people have now heard of this bad service and many more will be hearing about it. I actually understand now why most of the time why there are very rarely people in your shop.

On the 23 Dec 2022 I bought a pair of Pierre Cardin shoes worth R530. I wore the shoes on Sunday 25 Dec to church and again on the 28th to work. The morning of the 29th Dec I've noticed something funny on my one shoe the pierre cardin logo fell off. Fortunately I managed to find it underneath my desk and placed it in a money bag. On 30 Dec I took the shoes back to the Queenstown store. They advised that they can't give me other shoes nor give my money back it must go to the local repairs shop. I refused I said I am entiled to a full refund I only had these shoes literally 5 days. The store manager advised that they need to refer the matter to head office but they are unfortunately closed and will only return on the 9th. I politely said no problem I'll come back. Went back on the 9th they had no feedback because the lady was out of office I must come back on the 10th. Yesterday I spoke to a lady because at this stage I was already furious with the up and down and also the fact that they insist on repairs for a new pair of shoes. I spoke to a gentleman by the name of Deon who advised that he will call pierre cardin and find out if they can exchange the shoes and accessories are not covered under returns and what have you. Today i received a call from their East London office they will take the shoe to a repair centre in east london. I do no want those shoes repaired they are new I want a new pair or they can give my money back and block me from purchasing from the store again. I am very unhappy with the manner in which this situation is handled and I will certainly not buy from Joleys again. As much as I love their shoes this experience was shocking.

Last year November I made a laybye at Joley's shoes ,always their service sucks , i like their shoes though their service is like that , today i experienced the worst service ever in my life,i went at joley's to cancell the laybye on the 5/01/19 and they said to me they dont have money the business is slow i ddnt mind, i went back there again they looked at my slip and said the laybye must expire and i left , today i went there again they told me the same story they did of not having cash and i asked who is problem is that , they said it is not theirs as well , i must do whatever or leave the slip and come back later and they having attitude as if im the one who is at fault , if there is a head office where i can lodge a complaint please provide me with.

I bought 2 pairs of shoes from Joley's plaza shoe shop and 2 weeks later the soles started coming out. The price of these shoes was quite high and so I was expecting high quality. I had only worn the shoes four times. When I went to the manager to complain about this, she said she cannot help me. And sad that I can go to any shoe repairer and repair them there. I was so disappointed by her reaction and response. Their telephone number is 0475314568. Please help.
