I find myself struggling to adequately articulate the level of frustration, disappointment, and irritation experienced in my dealings with JPS. Their ongoing failure to perform basic administrative functions, address maintenance matters, or maintain professional neutrality has been nothing short of remarkable… in the worst possible way. They have, on more than one occasion, made blatantly false allegations of ******* dumping against me. Instead of handling the matter internally with a shred of professionalism or due process, they rushed off to CSOS and managed to lose Still awaiting my apology. More recently, they attempted to hold me financially responsible for a common property pipe. To date, they have been unable to produce an invoice, a detailed report, or even a Certificate of Compliance. One can’t help but ask: Do you actually possess a valid Fidelity Fund Certificate? Or is that also pending since 2014? Having spent many years in property management and previously working alongside the highly respected late Eldie Gerber (a giant in the sectional title industry), I can confidently say: when clients asked who the managing agent was, and the answer was JPS, they didn’t ask follow-up questions — they just ran. For the sake of fairness, here’s my professional assessment: Levy collection: A+ Application of those levies: F- Owner relations: F- Maintenance: F- Problem resolution: F- Dispute resolution: F- The alarming tendency to take matters personally instead of professionally only worsens an already toxic dynamic. I am currently on the verge of instituting legal action due to excessive allegations while still awaiting a second CSOS hearing — as JPS appears to believe they can forcibly open service shafts inside private units, damage property, and shift the repair bill onto the owner. An interpretation of law that seems imaginative at best. In summary: Grand opinions. Minimal ability. Maximum ego. A truly spectacular example of how not to manage a sectional title scheme.

I am writing to formally address a critical concern regarding the Body Corporate's claim that it will not assist tenants, stating that tenants have no rights, and its apparent failure to adhere to proper protocol in handling complaints. As a tenant, I have made several good-faith efforts to address and resolve issues impacting my living environment. These efforts were met with dismissive responses and an outright refusal to engage further, under the assertion that the Body Corporate has no obligation to assist tenants. Key Issues: Refusal to Assist Tenants: While I understand that the Body Corporate’s primary relationship is with unit owners, tenants have the right to live in a respectful and fair environment. The outright dismissal of tenant concerns is both unprofessional and *********. Failure to Follow Protocol: The lack of acknowledgment and transparent handling of noise complaints and other issues indicates a failure to adhere to proper protocol. This raises questions about the Body Corporate’s commitment to impartiality and due process. Perception of Victimization: The handling of these matters, coupled with dismissive communication, has fostered a sense of unfair targeting, which cannot be ignored. My Expectations: Clarification of Rights: A detailed explanation of how tenant concerns are to be addressed under current regulations. Evidence of Protocol Compliance: Proof that proper steps were followed in the handling of the complaints made against my unit. Commitment to Fair Treatment: Assurance that tenants will not be dismissed outright and that complaints will be handled impartially. If these concerns are not adequately addressed, I will have no choice but to escalate the matter further, including seeking legal advice and pursuing other remedies to ensure my rights as a tenant are protected.

JPS Trust is literally the worst service provider in the world. I have patience for slow service but no patience for unprofessional and rude customer service. They treat tenants like garbage and talk to people like they are children. I wish I could sue them honestly.

JPS Trust is located in Stellenbosch It is a Property Management Company. They collect & see to an Estates payable levies, water payments etc. They are under the Management of lady who is so unreliable, & unfriendly, that it beggars belief. You write emails, or letters, to this company & they do not acknowledge, or reply to any of them. You cannot get anywhere with this woman managing this company. You get no satisfactory response to a a problem, or grievance, you may have, or, wish to have brought in order. One eventually gets the idea that emails & letters are not even read. Should they have received money, which they advised you needed an adjustment to on your present levy, only to find at a later date that this was not at all necessary. They now have that extra money. You can write emails & letters, until your arms are breaking, to try and get that money refunded, & returned, to you. They just ignore you, & you never get your money paid back into your bank account. You can tear your hair out in frustration. It is despicable. It is not the way a reputable, reliable, & honest company, should be conducting business. This Company is great on threatening, & bullying customers, with a 10% increase on a bill if it has not been paid by a due date. But they do not honour payments made to them that they had no right to keep. It’s a shoddy, & disgraceful way, in which this Company conducts itself & treats their customers. There is nothing good , or positive, to be said about this company.

I am an owner of an apartment that JPS Trust manages. I've reported maintenance issues to them over the last year and they do not communicate or respond to any of my emails. When I do get their attention they have excuses and pass the issues on to the person responsible for the maintenance. They are very poor with communication.

The JPS trust have been the most unproductive body corporate I have dealt with to date. I stay in a building where the gate access does not work, it has been almost a month and they still refuse to change the system. Students have been mugged outside twice by 5 men in the space of a week and they are still "investigating the issue". I am appalled by their lack of sympathy and work ethic. You could give them the plans, low costs, and do everything, all you need is their go ahead and they just don't respond. So disappointing and unsettling.

The JPS trust have been the most unproductive body corporate I have dealt with to date.
