Usually a really good experience dealing with Discovery Insure, although in South Africa, with very few road signs indicating speed limits, it is a very frustrating experience. We use our Garmin to indicate speed limits due to this problem, but it turns out that Garmin and Discovery Insure differ on the speed limits on long roads. Doing 3000+ kilometres, keeping to the speed limits available as information (plus a whole lot of common sense), it is highly frustrating to be a Discovery Insure driver on SA roads. If you drive to the mall and back, sure, it's worth it, but you are punished if you don't use your car and you're punished when you do, especially long trips for vacations. Not a pleasure for long trips.

What a pleasant experience to deal with a helpful, friendly and professional man, Decious Banyini, at Discovery Insure. He gave me all the relevant information to make the claim understandable and easy to follow. The phone call was followed up with a sms to confirm claim number. Thank you very much Decious!
Ridecar Zagreb gave us a dirty vehicle full of dents and scratches and on returning the vehicle deducted 5145 Kn off our credit card after we signed a statement that we did NOT damage the car during our journey. When I asked for proof of repairs to claim from insurance, they simply ignore all my emails. I will also never recommend using Rentalcover as insurance. They have been utterly unhelpful in this matter
