I was very pleasantly surprised at the helpfulness of the staff but most importantly, the condition of the new wards at the hospital. There were spacious, well staffed, beyond clean and the patients looked well cared. I went there to look for our housekeeper who we were not able to trace via the phone, and all the way, from the security guards to hospital staff, the friendliness and helpfulness was amazing. 5/5 for this hospital.

The service is so terrible.Today there was a network issue and they had no solution to the problem. The only feedback they gave patients was that they are very much welcome to take their card files back and leave as there is nothing they can do.Old age people had to wait long queues and did not receive any assistance.I am really disappointed.I had to return home empty handed and my medication was finished which could result into a health hazard.I am really sad and i really stay far can't afford to go home and return at a later stage.

Terrible Terrible Jubilee Hospital casualties ward. that should not even be in Operation. rather call it Jubilee Mortuary. Disappointed that the Government can allow such Hospitals to operate. I was admitted in March. had no to few assistance, after a whole day and most into the night in Casualties and sleeping on the floor they gave a bed to me in Risas unit! They brought a casualty in that needed life support assistance and later left me with the dead body! the staff was absolutely very rude. I discharged myself after they told me I am fine, I went straight to a private doctor next morning that diagnosed and prescribed me medication. there is no hygiene, toilets is filthy, people sleeping and sitting on the floor for hours, the staff is very rude treating me like *******, making fun of me, gossiping about me Infront of me -though they though I could not understand their language! and security treated me like a prisoner. never ever go there please!

Good afternoon kindly make a follow up regarding the hygiene of the above mentioned hospital. I went to visit a family member on Saturday and what I have seen really was devastating! Drainage system not functional, public toilets are a mess casualty hallway strechers left unattended with dirty diapers lying around. My question is are they still practicing the batho pele principle because health and safety is definitely one of their priorities. Your assistance in this matter will be highly highly recommended!

Today the 1st of May 2021 my aunt had to be rushed to jubilee hospital. I've been sitting here with my mom 09:00 am and it's currently 20:21PM without any form assistance or even feedback from this nurses. It is so disheartening that jubilee hospital doesn't improve on its services for public servants even after so many donkey years. This hospital has never been up to speed even after so many complaints. Even security guards at casualties carry patient files around as if they are doctors or medical professionals. When are things or who will be able to shaken up things around this place????? That is the question that I guess even our grate grandchildren will asking one day when we are long gone. Medical professionals at jubilee hospital are so relaxed everyone is treating the place any way they want and guess what it's because they know that they don't get measured or asked by anyone for their incompetence. God help us all🙏🙏

My sister from Zimbabwe who has papers to be in South Africa, gave birth yesterday at jubilee hospital and she was forced to pay R7108 before she could be assisted to have the baby at hopital. She only managed to pay R500 and she was told by the nurses if she doesn’t pay the balance they will get her arrested. What I want to find out is when did people start paying to get services at Public Hospital. I have the receipts they gave her and debtors receipt with no hospital stamp, no contact details. Where is this money going to. This is the second incident. In December I myself was admitted at jubilee for over 10 hours with a dead baby in my tummy was sleeping in a room where there was needles and cleaning materials, how poor can the service there be. Minister of health need to do something I already sent these to times live news and Pretoria news we need answers and which regulations states paying of such amounts?
