1. We made a reservation for 8 people on Sunday night and the reservation was for 10AM the following Monday. When we arrived, at 10:10AM, the table was not prepared. My brother and I had to help set the tables for our family. 2. After placing our orders, the waiter came 15 minutes later to tell us that the pizza oven is not ready yet and asked that we order something else for the kids. Which we did. 3. An hour after we ordered, the waiter came back to tell us they don't have ripe avocados and asked that we change another order for something else. We asked how come the table next to us have avos and they look ripe, he said that was the last ripe avo they had. By this time, it was over an hour since we placed an order. So we asked for the bill for the drinks so we can leave and go eat elsewhere. We waiting another 5 minutes for the bill, so we asked for the manager, Michaela. That was the biggest mistake of the morning. Michaela has no clue about managing a restaurant. As the manager, she didn't know that we had made a reservation, she was not aware that customers ordered pizza but her pizza oven wasn't ready - AFTER 10AM! The only thing she was aware of is the we wanted avocado and there was none in the establishment. When we told her that we asked for the bill for our drinks so we can leave and go eat elsewhere, she displayed a "well-you-can-leave" kind of demeanor. I regret driving 10KM to try out their food and my family and I ended up wasting an hour and R255 on drinks which we had ro elsewhere and order again. Most of all, we waisted 80 minutes of our time at that very poorly managed restaurant. DON'T GO THERE... AT LEAST UNTIL MICHAELA LEAVES. SHE IS THE PROBLEM!!!

Never been at the new shop at Thaba since they moved from Mall of the South so my hubby took me their today. The shop is beautiful but the service was not good at all. We saw our waitress, Primrose only when she took our order, thereafter she was chatting to another waitress most of the time. When we received our food she did not come and ask if the food was right. I ordered the eggs benedict which was really good, my hubby on the other hand ordered the classic croissant with bacon and eggs which was a real disappointment. The croissant did not look right on the inside as if it was raw. He tasted it and said it does not taste right either so he ended up eating only the bacon and eggs, definitely not value for money at R81-00. None of the waiters came to ask if everything was ok even though my hubby left the croissant in his plate. No one even came to ask if we wanted another drink or something else to eat. We asked another waiter Musi for the bill, as we did not see our waitress, he brought the bill and left, he did not return with the speed point for us to pay. We waited a few minutes and then stood up so that they could see we wanted to leave, Musi then came with the speed point and we paid. I told him that my food was good but my husband's food was not good at all and the service is very bad, he just rep**** with a "sorry for that".

Excellent Service and super tasty (Freshly made) food. But the cherry on top is their home roasted home brewed divine coffee!!! As a self-proclaimed coffee snob, I never leave without a bag of their signature roasted coffee beans! :-) We travel from Heidelberg regularly to support them. Thank you for a wonderful experience every time!

We had booked a bachelorette a month in advance because the wedding is a month after when we booked.<br> Everything was arranged accordingly and set for the date we wanted.<br> Then we received a mail from Marieanne a week before the bachelorette<br> saying that they have a bigger event that they need to accommodate on the same day so they cant help us anymore.<br> We cannot do the date she suggested as the wedding is in two weeks.<br> This is very unprofessional and the terrible service.<br> We wouldn't refer this place to anyone.
