Just Teddy Above and Beyond
My mother's birthday fell on the same day as Mother's Day this year, the 12th. And despite their initial terrible customer service over the phone (in making changes to the booking), Just Teddy's went above and beyond to make our lunch memorable. I highly recommend the high tea, it is enough for 2 people - so filling you won't need to order more - salmon cream cheese bagels, cucumber cheese bagels, fluffy scones, mini chicken burgers, and the airiest pastries, and honestly, the best macarons I have ever eaten that come in so many flavours. They also have dozens of teas, I tried the creamy caramel, and it was perfect, not too sweet. The decor, the smell of Jasmine wafting in the air, and classical music, coupled with the dainty treats felt like something straight out of Bridgerton. They gave us a booth and a free birthday cake - as an apology for the rudeness over the phone 2 days prior - and it made my mom's birthday/Mother's Day even more special. She was so happy. Some of the best food, and service, with the kindest staff. We will visit many more times. Thank you, Just Teddy's, (@ Hyde Park)!

Just Teddy Above and Beyond
My mother's birthday fell on the same day as Mother's Day this year, the 12th. And despite their initial terrible customer service over the phone (in making changes to the booking), Just Teddy's went above and beyond to make our lunch memorable. I highly recommend the high tea, it is enough for 2 people - so filling you won't need to order more - salmon cream cheese bagels, cucumber cheese bagels, fluffy scones, mini chicken burgers, and the airiest pastries, and honestly, the best macarons I have ever eaten that come in so many flavours. Just Teddy's ********** Customer Service
Customer Service is atrocious, and absolutely rude over the phone. I spoke to Eve the manager at Just Teddy's Hyde Park, about my reservation on the 12th of May at 13:30, or should I say tried speaking to her. But she put the phone down on me whilst I was talking to her. I understand that this may be their busiest time with the upcoming Mother's Day, but still, it is no way to speak to your customer. I needed my reservation changed, or help changing my reservation from 3 people to 2 people as my father is unable to make it back from a business trip in time. The least they could do was deal with my query in a kind and respectful manner or explain to me if it's unable to be changed (because we later found out that we are unable to change it). I called 2 times before speaking to Eve, and each time I was told they could not speak to me now, they would call back in 5 minutes, and yet they did not. I wasted airtime following up and trying to get through. They are exceptionally rude when dealing with customers. I truly am not looking forward to our time there on the 12th, if their service in person is just as bad, I would say that they are all name (status), and not actually worth it.

Nice restuarant
We hosted my ****orker's baby shower lunch at this restaurant in March 2024 and i must say, the place is so gorgeous. I loved everything, from the set up, to the flower arrangements on the table and the roof, the food, the dessert, and the waiter. My goodness. The place is in Hyde Park and I stay in Pretoria, so it might not be the place for me to go as often as i would have wanted. But i will def go there when i am around that side. Thanks for the great service.

Nice restuarant

I loved everything, from the set up, to the flower arrangements on the table and the roof, the food, the dessert, and the waiter. My goodness. The place is in Hyde Park and I stay in Pretoria, so it might not be the place for me to go as often as i would have wanted. But i will def go there when i am around that side. I order Just Teddy from Hyde park on Uber Eats on 2nd March 2024. Special & specific delivery instructions were made of “PLEASE NO KETCHUP “ due to allergens . This was not followed , and on top of this cold old food was delivered . On contacting both over eats and just teddy .. I spoke to Eve who assured me a refund will be made . I provided my banking details and followed up numerous times . It’s not the R171 … it’s the principle for me that matters more . Very sad and disappointing that Just Teddy is not only completely disinterested in customer service .. but makes empty promises in rectifying their wrong doing

This was not followed , and on top of this cold old food was delivered . On contacting both over eats and just teddy .. I spoke to Eve who assured me a refund will be made . I provided my banking details and followed up numerous times . It’s not the R171 … it’s the principle for me that matters more . Very sad and disappointing that Just Teddy is not only completely disinterested in customer service .. but makes empty promises in rectifying their wrong doing

Just Teddy - Simply Awesome
This was our second visit to Just Teddy, in Hyde Park Corner. The first visit resulted from us simply walking past, and being seduced by the name, decor and delicacies on display. To be fair though, we had already been introduced on social media. The intention was to sample from the selection of patisseries, but we were seduced by the trays gliding past us on the way to delighted patrons. I chose the Le Hot Dog - Delicious, and I was not disappointed. My wife chose the Fish and Chips which was equally tasty and was accompanied by homemade tartar sauce, which I promptly helped myself to. We were so impressed that, when it came to dining out to celebrate our 40th Wedding Anniversary, the choice of restaurant was easy. This time, we were shown a lovely table by our waitress, Thandi. We chose the Danie JNR. Chenin Blanc which was masterfully opened (a proper cork bottle - pleasantly surprising for an entry-level price) by Thandi and correctly presented for a pre-taste. I chose the Prawn & Chorizo Pasta and was overjoyed by the flavours and the generous portion, as well as the abundance of prawn and chorizo. My wife was so in love with the Fish and Chips that she ordered the same again. I stole some more tartar sauce.... We mentioned in a casual discussion with Thandi, that it was our 40th Anniversary. She disappeared and swiftly presented us with a cupcake and sparklers. For dessert, we both had Baked Alaska, both presented with sparklers - scrumptious, but we couldn't finish them. Thandi whisked our plates away and returned with the leftovers in a beautifully gift-wrapped box! We were pleasantly surprised by an external freelance Thai Massage The******, who offered a 10-minute neck and shoulder massage while we waited for our meals. My wife was coincidentally, experiencing severe neck pain at the time, so we gleefully accepted. She loved it so much that she requested a second session a little later, a session which the the****** refused to accept payment for. She was extremely professional and pleasant to talk to. My wife got a hug and some touching spiritual advice, and I got a very firm handshake. Overall, a thoroughly pleasing experience. We were especially impressed by the outstanding service we received from Thandi. She made a very special celebration, a moment to cherish and remember.

Disgusting delivery service. Inedible.
Horrible horrible delivery service. Not on time. When items were delivered they were not edible as they had deconstructed in the delivery van. All items were delivered hot, as a result some items were spoiled.
