I'm very disappointed with the manager of carrim store in Bloed street, I bought a 2 doors on the 1st December before they close, but I found one damage as it was covered with plastic, we couldn't inspect, but I returned it, so he refused to take it back saying it has marks on it, and their door are kept standing and they can't be damaged, but this one when I got it was on level with other stacked. His name is Adrian.

Bad they a bunch of ****** ! Please stay away from this company. I bought pvc ceiling twice , first time the deliver the wrong type and the second time we got used pvc ceiling wrapped and sealed in a box! We open the box and the first sheet were correct . When we wanted to used it today15th October the order has been made up of smaller pieces ! You can clearly see itβs been used . Called the number and has been referred to Moneeb who conviently does not pick up.I want to warn members of the public not to buy anything from Karrim Hardware Dtore in Boom street, Pretoria ! First purchase were done6 October , they deliberately gave plain pvc after we showed them , again 14 October we showed them n they deliver used pvc sealed in a box ! Stay away from these ******

Never buy anything online from this company. I bought items and when I went there to collect i was told they are out of stock, but they were not marked online. It has been over 2 weeks I'm still waiting. I was promised that they will send me pictures for me to select a similar item, but when you contact them they do not respond. If you can't to to the shop. Never use their online portal.

I want express my view about the guy at by the name called Mubarak who is a assistant manager at Carrim Boom street He is not fit to work with people at customer service where he has to assist with the customers quiries from staff, if he is called to assist the customer he will take the whole time that he need on the phone he doesnt realy care about the customer , his customer service is extremely bad, he is impatient , irritable, arrogant and rude, he doesnt care or have any best interest at heart for the clients at all, he will talk on the phone ignoring you when you need his help , he will not even look at you or hang up as a sign of respect atleast for the benefit of the customer, he will talk until to his satisfaction for long as long as he he is satisfied. to my understanding people who are rude like him and arrogant should atleast be at the back office and deal with paperwork and not at the front desk where they are expose to the customers atleast for the image of the company. he gets very irritated when you even ask him or talk to him attitude towards customers is extremely bad, he is not friendly at all , the management of Carrim should try to look for a replacement for him in that position atleast for the image that is still left or take him to customer service training course, or let him go and stay at home with that bad attitude for people.

Would not recommend this company to anyone! They are so quick to process any online orders but getting a refund done is a NIGHTMARE! I have purchased items from them online with my company called ezcrafts. And then when the time came to request a refund you have to battle to your last energy with these guys! They gave me a time frame of 7 to 14 working days. We are now going for 3 weeks and I still haven't received my refund! These people are not trust worthy at all! I demand that my money be available in my account today or this matter is going to the ombudsman! I think I have been more than patient now. Their online department is always just giving me stories about being sent to debtors and then sending off to finance and all these other unnecessary stories. This is corporate ****ming to the max! Do not do business with these people!

It's bad service like this that gives online stores π very disappointing with the services I received from your online store. It's been more than 8 days since i made the order no assistance I keep on calling no assistance they just say some item they don't have they will call back . Carrim, Hardware Menlyn, I took delivery of supplies (R18,819.11, Doc. 4993005946)for renovations of our complex. Trouble started when we had to do some returns. The conduct of one gentleman (Black Indian) who looks like he is in charge at the collection yard was appalling and disrespectful to say the least. He shouted (unprovoked) at clients and his workers indiscriminately, treated them with arrogance and disrespect. He even in his fiery temper, could not read their own invoice and refused our contractor to return two door frames that were actually item #3 on the receipt. I later called to clarify this and was met with just as bad , rude, disrespectful response from an Ali Fyzoo with whom I had initiated the transaction online, he subjected me to an interrogation and did not give me a chance to explain the reason for my call. I at some point told him to keep quite and listen to me because (i) I had initiated the call and (ii) I was the client, he must not shout/argue with me, only then did he apologise and promised to receive the doorframes needless to say that would cost me another trip back to them. Refund also took forever as we had to come another day as they "did not have cash". While I have over the years (since 2016), found, and recommended K. Carrim's nationwide building supplies as well priced, my recent experience has made me reconsider. One can only imagine how workers are treated daily if that could happen in full view of clients and not sparing clients themselves. This is sad, disappointed loyal client of years.
