Horrible expensive electricity by Khwela power
Khwela power electricity is horribly expensive, I wouldn't recommend anyone to use their services. How does a person staying alone, cooking after every 2nd/3rd day, spending most of his time at work, running a geyser for only 30minutes a day use electricity worth R1000 in a space of just 11days (03/12/2021-14/12/2021)? I'd urge anyone to ask their property agents who manages their electricity bill before signing on the dotted line & if it is Khwela power then you need to run the hell away. I am so displeased with this service provider & their horrible prices 😡

Khwela power electricity is horribly expensive, I wouldn't recommend anyone to use their services. Wow, this company has owed me money since July 2019, I have mailed numerous times, called them too. they keep asking me for banking details, i have sent this to them many times. seems when a person owes them money they cut your electricity and raise your deposit at will, however when they owe you money you cannot get hold of them. Worst service ever, I urge you to re consider
Worst service ever, I urge anyone considering using Khwela in their complex or anywhere else, or anyone considering renting a place that utilizes Khwela to re consider. DO NOT rent a place that has Khwela as their service provider. worst service ever, and when I say they are expensive, trust me they load their pricing by a whole bunch. Good Luck

Worst service ever, I urge anyone considering using Khwela in their complex or anywhere else, or anyone considering renting a place that utilizes Khwela to re consider. DO NOT rent a place that has Khwela as their service provider. worst service ever, and when I say they are expensive, trust me they load their pricing by a whole bunch. Good Luck

Generally hellopeter is associated with complaints, but recently we had some misfortune with our prepaid electricity within a complex which Khwela Power manage.<br> <br> The problem in the end was from third parties and after being redirected around in circles we came across Andre. He was the first person within the change of people who didn't want to help who was confident he could help and he did.<br> <br> It took some time, but he kept at it, kept us up to date and honestly believe he is one of Khwela Power's greatest assets. If they were to lose him I don't know what would happen with Khwela.<br> <br> But once again, I would like to publicly thanks Andre Buys at Khwela Power for his excellence, professionalism and commitment to ensure everything got sorted.

Khwela power remain reluctant in solving the billi
It started whem Khwela Power took over the metering system at Maglieshof Flats. They send us all crazy electricity bills that were highly inflated and their reluctance in solving this matter is just one that has been frustrating us. I wrote an email and thus was some of the email contents ,\ , please explain to me on why I have to pay for water that I or the unit that I stay in is not responsible for, 2- Why do I have to be responsible for paying electricity that I never ever get to use?<br> <br> Are we as tenants responsible for the usage of those who stay right next to the toilet where they get to use the water without being monitored in anyway? Why should I pay for some tenant to wash his car in the yard whilst I don't own even a bicycle? <br> <br> The reason for these questions were based on the fact that we have to pay double the actual consumption of electricity per unit..eg: I may consume electricity worth R 249 per month but due to the general comunal space, I will have to pay about R500 towads my electricity bill and this is excluding the double charge for water consumption in the same manner as well as services and rates for other things....<br> <br> Can the Energy Regulator of South Africa do s"

Horrendous Appauling Service to Client
I've had to speak to 3 employees working for the company and one would swear they went to the same tertiary institution (if any). Their service is appalling, they have no customer service etiquette whatsoever. Only for asking why a water bill was so inflated. Small fishes in a companies are always the cause of loss in business, The last straw is hanging up on a client and pretending that there was a connection fault. That's patronising and insulting ones intelligence. Being given a story that a consultant being off work in less than 5 min before she hung up because she is unable to account to their clients. They are in the wrong line of work if there are no manners and they offer such sickening service. Employees there, ones i've spoken to are an ill mannered & incompetent bunch. There's absolutely no excuse for being unruly.

Deposit Hike threaten to shutdown electricity
As a result of the electricity increase Kwela power demanded a risk deposit increase.<br> Which is understandable and is willing to pay.<br> The fact that the burden of the electricity increase wasn't enough they demanded a deposit increase in the same month. Usually my electricity was about R1000 per month. With the new increase it suddenly jumped to just over R2000. (Questionable). This means I have to fork out over R3000 this month.<br> I tried to negotiate a deposit payback of R250/month as I did pay the full electricity bill and was running low on funds the month. They would not budge on the matter and insisted I pay at least R500/month on the deposit and threatened to shut of my electricity.<br> The fact is that I did pay my electricity bill and in no way were they in risk of account in arrears since this is a deposit only, which btw has no interest accumulation.<br> I detest this companies attitude and the board of directors attitude on this matter. If by any chance there is a complex that is reviewing a property management company, I'd look else where since they are heartless uncompassionate bullies with no understanding. Once again the man on the street looses to the corporate monopoly.
