I bought a car on Friday from KMH DURBAN, The car was delivered from Durban to Johannesburg. On the process of buying a car I was sent pictures of a Suzuki Swift 1.2 GL and I was happy with the car. On Thursday I signed online contract, on the contract the vehicle description was a Suzuki Swift 1.2 GL however when the car was delivered it was a Suzuki Swift 1.2 GA. This are 02 different vehicles and also the interiors are not the SAME. I was overcharge on the vehicle, The Suzuki Swift 1.2 GL and Suzuki Swift 1.2 GA prices are not the same. Please be aware of this dealership!! I also realized that the vehicle has a problem with headlamps, it's very difficult when driving the car at night. Brothers and Sisters please stay away from KMH DURBAN. PLEASE DONT ATTEMPT TO BUY ANY VEHICLE AT KMH DURBAN. The Dealership is a ****MER, THEY ARE NOT TRANSPARENT and never HONEST.

Please assist me with the following problem. I did a trade in for my Toyota Starlet because I wanted to downgrade which was financed by Absa bank. I bought a polo GP 1.4 2021 from KMH Durban Stalwart Simelane street, upon test driving the car, I did not find any issues with the vehicle, then the following day I saw EPC light popping up whilst driving and the car had no power. I took a picture and sent it to Lucky who was my sales man, he said to me I must monitor the light and let him know if it comes back because it kept on coming on and off. After sending it to him he asked me to send the car the following week and said that they were busy, off which I was not happy with, having to drive the faulty car as a woman and being stranded at times, emotionally impacted me negatively. I waited until the set date and even getting a courtesy car was an issue. They took the car for the first time and asked me to write down all the issues that I picked up from the car, which also included, back rest of the passenger seat, the wipers, and windshield washer, and the car had 1 remote key which was not working. After trying to sort out the car they brought it back and within few weeks the same light came back, I sent another screenshot, they took the car again, and I told them to change the car because I am finding lots of issues with the car but they refused and promised to sort it out. After sending the car 3times there for the same problem, they promised to give me another car because I had already reported them on Hello peter and they asked me to remove the complain there as they had already sorted the issue and I did. After that I discovered that the car had an accident in the front because the bumper started falling and they said that was cosmetic and it happens for all used cars, however when I bought the car they denied it when I asked if the car had an accident which is also a miss-selling, not disclosing everything about the car. They said that they won’t take it back, they can only repair the problem and give it back to me. After two weeks of sorting the light issue, it came back and this time it was a Sunday and when I did a screenshot it was ignored. I then called again on the 18/11/2024 to inform them again and they said the only option I have is a trade in, they cannot just take the car back because I was using it. I was dealing with Edwin the manager and Lucky the sales man. Attached is the screenshots of my conversations with the dealership.

Update 14 Nov Reported to ombudsman Had to change clutch. Turbo. Engine R80000 SO far in repairs.. See photos.. Updates coming UPDATE: 19 Aug 24 Will soon be Sharing all documents.. And hardcore voice calls and documentation of everything transpired to date.. On all social platforms. The proof is in what you see, and legal. 5here no such thing as a negative star.. I got taken for the ride of mylife and still put my trust In this ppl.. Call me foolish l.. I looked outside the problems the car had I initially.. Lights not working..no radio.. Hissing sound losing water.. And still took it.. I am sitting g nine months later.. No support but a blown engine.. Which the repairer can prove was a redone upfront.. Don't fall into these traps.. I have no car but a Hefty bill to pay every month.. I learnt the hard way and hopefully I can save u. Don't buy. I have proof if u need to see it and will be attaching the pics shortly. I will also a set up a table on why not by buy from kmh outside.. See me... Don't get taken for a ride.. I also have former staff that will testify in this legal endeavour. Please Don't buy!

Very poor service, I regret doing a trade in with this company. I gave them my car toyota starlet with in good condition with 2keys and everything in order. Firstly we had agreed on the time for picking up the car but on the day I had to wait for hours before they had it ready. The car polo gp 2021 was for a downgrade, but very filthy inside, had no spare key, 1 key which the remote was not working, no carpets, no service book, bettery problems, no windshield cleaner, backrest issues on the chair, epc light. I reported they took it for a week, gave me a very old Toyota yaris with ****roches as a courtesy car which I had to fight for as well, to sort it out but still it is not sorted. The manager Edwin told me to buy new bettery when I complained about it, he said they had tested everything it was in order so I must buy a new one on my own. . I need justice from these people and I will make sure that they sort out all these issues because I haven't even started paying for the car but already I have to buy new bettery, key, carpets. They failed to deliver the service I was looking for and I wouldn't advise anybody to buy a vehicle with these people. They are very bad.

Absolutely terrible service. I bought a used car from them and within 2 weeks it was back at the shop for repairs, which took 4 months and within 1 month of driving, it had a huge oil leak. When I eventually decided they should take it back, the agent, Sam, said that they can only do a trade-in so he came to do a valuation, messed up mu gearbox and told me he was not responsible for it because he had brought an external person to do it so I should talk to them.

My fiance and I purchased a vehicle in the beginning of April 2023 from this dealership and have experienced exceptionally bad service from them. The sales agent does not return calls, does not respond to emails, does not follow up on outstanding issues. It has been four months and we are still waiting for a part that was promised to us 2 weeks after taking delivery of the vehicle. We had to track the part down, to be informed that the part had arrived and the dealership were made aware but still did not collect. During the four months we were not contacted once to inform us of what was going on, we had to constantly make the calls to find out. When we took delivery of the vehicle we were told the vehicle had been for a service and that the tyres were perfect. When we got home there was no oil in the car and had to top it up with 8L, we also had to take the vehicle for alignment an balancing as well as change the spaces as they were cracked which was causing a terrible shudder, to also find out the spare wheel needed to be replaced due to the one supp**** having a huge bubble. The shudder and vibration was so bad that we couldn't even drive it back to the dealership. A week later we had to change the belt as it was so badly worn out as well. We also requested a copy of the service history, and received excuse after excuse as to why they could not give it to us. Thankfully we have now received it, but it took for us to do the groundwork to obtain it. The employees continuously lie, and customer service is non existent.

I went with my fiance to do an application for a car at KMH Motors in Durban. I told the guy that my fiance wants the finance but has no license and they said they can use my license and they just need a letter written out to say she wants me to be the designated driver. I asked them if they can help with the situation and they stressed to me that they definitely can so We sent all the paperwork through including my license and the guy called me back and said everything is sorted out we just need to speak to the branch manager in order to have the car ready by Saturday 18/07/2020 so when we went to the bank with another KMH employee and we found out that they were making my fiance apply for a PERSONAL Loan something she did not want. And in all that she got declined. I tried calling the guy i dealt with but he did not answer and his colleagues said he is coming in late. We were totally mislead and I did not knw dealerships treat people like this just to get a sale!
