Lalegno have a snazzy showroom and all the bells and whistles- great instagram page , website etc but it ends there . I have had endless issues with the installation of our vinyl and solid floors from them. Their installer came to inspect our floors and did not recommend self leveling screed before installation.I think he wanted to rush the job - as a result my floors are uneven and not clicked in properly. The vinyl is delaminating. They used my extra boards to fix some of my problems that they were directly responsible for . They now can’t fix the rest of the popping boards and delaminating planks as they claim they have no stock and the line is suddenly discontinued. They now ghost me The aftercare service is abominable- Lalegno try blame the installer that they recommended and wash their hands off any responsibility. If you thinking of using this company- get as many other quotes and opinions first . Know one thing ,you are not looked after if there are any faults. The installer they use is Bernie from AA flooring. My advice … RUN

This company treats customers like a minor inconvenience that will go away if they ignore you for long enough. It seems they have no qualms in violating your consumer's rights. Since 2020 they have only caused misery, significant disruption and inconvenience in our lives. It started with their installation team damaging our door frames, left with massive gaps between the finishings and floors, glue footprint stains all over the place. Despite numerous requests, these issues, so-called “snags”, remain unresolved, and conveniently ignored for 4 years. Then, several months after installation, the floors started lifting, cupping, and breaking at the joints. After 4 attempts to "fix" their failing floors over the last 4 years, each time a struggle to get them to come out, they literally left us without a floor in our home and damaged skirting boards and cabinetry. We're literally sitting on concrete floors now. This does not seem to bother them in the slightest as phone calls and emails are simply ignored. Since 2022, we've been asking that they refund our money, as it was obvious they were never going to be able to fix their mess. Their solution was to replace the floor with a cheaper product, at one third of the original cost of the product (4 years later, not even accounting for inflation that has mired the building industry), not like-for-like which is unsatisfactory. Never was the impact of replacing the floors and the process involved communicated to us. When we formally requested our money to be refunded, they just flat out ignored us. They still have our money, yet they deliberately ignore our requests for a refund. We paid for a product we no longer have, yet they think this is appropriate and acceptable to ignore us. It just show the complete disregard to leave their customers in a state of absolute wreck of a situation, when we just wish to move on with our lives. The owner, Clark, has consistently been avoiding my calls/emails, and only answered when contacted from an alternative number. This conduct is so unprofessional, this is the type of behavior and delaying tactics you usually see with Gumtree *****sters.

This will be my first review. I usually try and resolve issues directly and not do it via social media, but I have no choice anymore since Lalegno Somerset West has ghosted me and do not respond to queries. In 2022 they fitted floors for me as part of a bigger house renovation. They worked with other contractors. I was initially satisfied with the installation even though the SPC floor they fitted were incorrectly cut in places and only reported after the whole floor was fitted. This resulted in fillers having to bridge the gaps left. Lalegno signed off on the installation at the end of the project. There was no issue with any of the work done by other contractors. To my shock, 18 months later the installation failed. The floor is lifting and as a result many of the the clock ends of the planks have broken resulting in planks sticking out. Lalegno came to inspect. Suddenly blame is assigned to the sun (which has been around for a while, even while installation was done), other contractors and so forth. When I approached Lalegno with specific questions they ghosted me. My researched showed that they did not follow their own installation instructions. They also signed off in the install after all the other contractors were done. Now they blame other contractors. They can apparently also not explain this. I do understand things go wrong, but I don't think it is asking too much to engage and take responsibility. Lalegno cannot answer my questions and is not responding to any communication anymore. The represenative who managed my installation does not work for the company. Clark Appleby was the representative who has been dealing with my query and who is not answering any emails anymore. I am sharing my experience here so others can make an informed decision about using them. I am sure they have many happy clients. I am just not one of them. I feel let down. I paid a huge amount of money for a floor meant to last many years. Now it is a disaster after 18 months. Hopefully others can make an informed decision following my experience. I am busy with processes to hold them accountable.

We ordered R 267 000 worth of timber flooring from this company in August 2018. As of the 7th August 2019, this installation is still not complete. Dealing with Lalegno is an absolute disaster. If you are looking for wooden flooring run a mile in the opposite direction of these idiots.
