To say I’m annoyed would be an understatement, 3 Months (December 2025) since and counting! Brake pads were replaced on my Velar under the maintenance plan, after the service I noticed that the disks were being worn which was strange and notified the dealer immediately. (roughly beginning Jan) Vehicle was booked in again for them to investigate the problem and they replaced the disks (normal procedure I’m guessing would be to check the brake pads as well), that wasn’t done and once again the disks were getting damaged. (Mid January) Car booked in again for their specialize technician! to have a look and was informed that the spacers on my tires were the cause of the problem, let’s take into account that the issue only started after the brake pads were replaced never the less they informed me that the spaces which have no relation to the disks should be removed which they did and that they would skim the disks and that I should drive the vehicle for a few days to monitor the disks. A day later same result disks have grooves and I notify the dealer. They informed me that they would need to get approval from head office to have the disks and pads replaced) Early February, dealer informed me that approval received and that they would confirm when I could bring the vehicle in for replacement of disks and pads . Last week service advisor confirmed that I could bring the vehicle in this week, and I confirmed that I would bring the vehicle in on the 26th February as I was out of town. Received a call early this morning 7am to be told that they only received the break pads and that we would need to reschedule the service !!! Because the only available disks are in rustenburg and that it would take 2 days for them to get delivered. Surely before informing me they would have ordered the parts. I informed them that this was unacceptable and that I would drop the car off at the dealership because I have had enough of their incompetence and that will rectify the problem. Is this is the level of service that I can expect from Land Rover, inconvenience, frustration and non professionalism. This issue needs to be resolved !

Well I can't believe that a very well known company and trusted one could do this to me... I was in an online learnerships under skill up and my sponsor was SANDTON LAND Rover so I've been asking for my uif documents they've been postponing and I was not even informed about the expiring of the contract... When I check in my ufiling page I'm only declared one month under this sponser called LAND ROVER SANDTON the other months are not declared. I'm very ****ed I want to claim my uif and be removed from Skill Up systems because they are not professional and they are ****mers

Do Not Buy LR Vouge Just recently bought a 2018 LR RR Vogue and 8 days later the vehicle is leaking oil on my garage floor, still dealing with that the airbag light pops up while driving and the vehicle spent the last 2 weeks on repairs at the dealer with no spare key being told its going to take 5 months to get spare keys as they're ordered from the UK. Now I want nothing to do with this vehicle as it's showing all the Red flags and the audecity of the dealer Principal refusing to cancel the deal and making these faults to be minor and shoving me with a vehicle that only has 5 months warranty left on it and all these problems. Not to mention that I've been through this before with the same model and oil leaks on these prestigious vehicles. Now I have to pay installment and insurance for the vehicle I don't have because they're refusing to cancel the deal. Once the get your money, your satisfaction is not apriority anymore. Very disappointing customer service from Land Rover Sandton

Land Rover Bryanston gives the worse service ever. I took my vehicle for minor problem and they told you it will cost 30k. the car spent a week at the dealership and it was ready according to them on the 20/12/2022. Upon collecting the vehicle i noticed oil leak on my garage and the vehicle could not reverse ( calibrating warning ) because of the Christmas holiday i could not return the vehicle and now they cant fix my car or give me a loan vehicle sorely because my car is out of motorplan.

Had door lock systems replaced just after warranty fell away. Got over charged and the repair doesn't work. I took the car back and showed them the repair is not working. The service agent just fiddled with the key and said there you go it now works. Still not working!!!!!!!

Two weeks ago I went to Land Rover Sandton as a buyer. A guy by the name of Andrew in new car sales assisted me. I was clearly from the start that I have a 420i bmw that I would to trade in and maybe spend a little more and get a First edition. The short fall on the bmw was high therefore I suggested maybe a older model suv. I spent two and a half hours at this dealership and the only deal this guy was willing to try and help me with was a new ranger for 1.3 million ( R23000pm installments) or take a 3 year old ranger with high millage for R930000.00. Which makes no sense as I am trying to reduce cost and be able to structure a deal with residual. All my fica, bank statement were email to finance while I was at the brunch. Before I could leave the show room the sales guy Andrew tells me just keep in mind that your application maybe declined. Not sure why any sales men when make a obscene comment to a customer who is serious about purchasing. Two days later I contacted Land Rover Sandton to ask what’s going on., the sales man clearly wasn’t hungry enough for the sale so he didn’t bother telling me I was approved for both car applications. I requested the approval to be sent to me and from what I saw the customer interest meant nothing as the wanted me to pay prime plus 5% with out residual over 6 years on the car. I immediately contacted BMW sandton and explain what poor service Range Rover gave me. BMW was able to do an approval for the top of the range x3 with all the extras with an amazing rate where my installments would go down to R16100 pm. The document were ready the same day along with the OTP. I contacted Andrew to maybe give him another shot at this deal and his immediate words to me was that my deal with bmw finance is declined and there’s no way I can get that interest rate. So I email all the docs incl the bmw approval to him. Then too he tells me my deal is declined. I have an excellent credit score and I have never been declined for anything ever before. My heart was truly set in the Land Rover so I connected Range Rover Fourways. Spoke the the new car sales manager Kevin. He sent me pic of all the stocker he had. The next day I receive approval with an even better rate and I’m taking my car from Fourways instead. A lesson to be learnt for Range Rover. Sandton, don’t judge a book by its cover. A client can tell they can only spend R16000.00 pm on a car installment you as a sales men should not already think this person can afford this car so you take it on your self to tell the client they will be declined. I also contacted the dealer principal at Range Rover Sandton and explain what has happen he to date hasn’t made contact with me regarding this matter. From a personal point of view I personally feel I got treated and judged at Range Rover Sandton because of the color of my skin. And how I was dressed. I’m writing this review because I feel that by now a females should t be judged when she walks into a car sales showroom and not given a second look at because of the color of their skin as well. I can now say I am extremely happy with the service I did receive from the new car sales manager at Fourways Land Rover Kevin and his team are amazing and going forward that would be my dealership of choice to anyone.

Purchased a used silver 2014 F Type R coupe on the 11th of December 2019. On the 22nd of December, 11 days after taking delivery, the climate control, sat nav, INDICATORS, windows, blind spot warning and cameras all failed while driving on the N2 from Gordon’s Bay into Cape Town, right by the township! Sent it into Jaguar Stellenbosch who gave us a print out showing the car had previously been in for the exact same fault 6 times before and on one occasion the previous owner complained the whole car had cut out entirely! Asked Jaguar in Sandton for a FULL REFUND which they’ve refused. Zak Niemann the “manager” a 20 something year old snot kop started by saying they were allowed to repair the vehicle under CPA regulations, which is FALSE! In fact the regulations state that we can request a full refund if we can prove the vehicle had a major defect, which from the previous history print out, we clearly have! He went on to say they’d be happy to pay for car hire for 5 days up to R300 per day. Yes you read that correctly, R300/day. So We’re supposed to go from driving a car that costs almost a million rand to riding a horse? Because the last time I checked you can’t hire anything for R300/day let alone an F Type R 5.0 V8 which is R9200/day from Avis! I have emailed the CEO Ricky Hartog of the entire SMH group to resolve the issue by collecting their vehicle from Jaguar Stellenbosch and refunding us for the full purchase price. Failing that the ombudsman will need to get involved. I’ve posted this so that anyone even considering buying a new or used vehicle from these cowboys can see first hand exactly the type of bull**** they try and pull! This is not to mention Etienne Toet failing to reply to our email after 3 days! Or Jan Lubbe, saying we weren’t supposed to be privy to the vehicles history! Sitting at home for 10 days without transport while they **** us around!
