Liberty life insurance is an absolute joke… they are unable to process a claim due to covid and so many claims to process!!!!!!! Shame… is that your job ? So who do we rely on if you cannot pay out when we need it.. my advice stay away from Liberty Life insurance and move to a company who does know how to work on claims when you need them

In 2016 I had a baby whilst on the Liberty Medical Aid. I submitted the requested information such as baby's Birth Certificate to Liberty to add the baby on medical aid and up until present my baby is still registered on the medical aid however I a receiving debt collection for the delivery although this was supposed to have been paid up by the medical aid. In January 2017 the medical aid migrated over to Bonitas and now Liberty is not taking accountability to resolve this even after emails being sent to them. I am now faced with a R13000 debt that should have been paid by the scheme. Total rip off company and I will never recommend them to anyone due to the poor ethics and distasteful service. Even the hospital is confused due to the migration as each provider is passing the buck on each other.

<p>They for some reason cant send anything Sars are awaiting documents after they added it on efilling this is the s;(t service I received and that is why i cancelled my medical with this people think twice before joining this excuse for a medical aid</p>

<p>Good day we cancelled our medical aid with LMS the 1st of December 2016. The consultant told us that we need to wait for 4 months to get back our refund. They said that they are waiting for doctors that have not send them statements but we have not been to any drs after the 15 December 2016 and we told them that we will take full responsesibility for any outstanding payments. Still they refused. </p> <p> </p> <p>One Dr they did pay as per the statement but the dr said they never received the money. they dont want to assist the Dr nor myseld to see where the payment has been allocated to. Now the dr is holding me responsible for the account.</p> <p> </p> <p>I want my money to be paid back to me asap.</p> <p> </p> <p>Please could someone assist me.</p> <p> </p> <p>regards</p>

Good day, I had services rendered on the 22/10 & 24/10. Sumbitted my 1st claim on the 25/10 = REF: [DCZ #5348420] . Followed up with a call that all is in order and will be paid the end of the week on the claim run, REF: 39458592. Monday 7/11/16 no payment made, claim was rejected but no one came back to me to notify me before the problem occurred this could have been avoidable if I was notified that there was a typo on the invoice, 1 digit error.. So i fixed the error and submitted new docs. REF: [DCZ #5361142] - followed up with a call REF: 39481904, all is now in order and will be sorted by Friday for the claim run. So today i follow up and been told that it was not paid and not even captured yet??? REF: 39502549. I cannot afford to be out of pocket of this money for a month because my medical aid is lazy and cant think for themselves.. I was blantantly lied to on the phone, this is unacceptable. I cant wait for this FRIDAY as I need this money as I dont have money for food. Nico Vermaak

<p>THey are all about the money! No customer service, no personal care, nothing! ! Broke their contact when I resigned, and can'tadmit to it now. I had to pay 14k out of my pocket for everything that they didn't pay. Also had to pay for the new medical aid. But when you talk to anyone the don't care about any thing or anyone except the money. Where is the personal touch and people s****s? ? I think it is totally pathetc!!! </p>
