Reply on Vanessa Ps review - I am the owner of Lilly Design Studio. We have been in business for 5 years and can say this has been the most horrible experience with a client we have ever had. This client received her 5 dresses after numerous mistakes from her sending her own fabric which was too little, and then not sending the correct fabric and changing the entire order on 99. After sending numerous pictures with measurements taken and her receiving the dresses and being very happy - 2 weeks went by (after asking if she can wash and tumble dry the dresses and us stating no) she contacted us again now complaining that the dresses shrinked and didn't fit anyone now after confirming that all is well. We asked her to send it back as we might have made a mistake somehow. When we received the dresses ALL the dresses was shrunk AND the fabric pulled to one side. I immediately contacted her and asked if she tumble dried the dresses as she wanted to - she dropped the phone and contacted a lawyer. I offered to help her free of charge, as anyone can make a mistake and they refused and blamed us for ruining the dresses. We then contacted our lawyer and drafted a report with messages and pictures taken of every dress with all correct measurements even the 11cm she requested. We did our due diligence and there was no fault on our side - it was solely Vanessa who made a mistake right before her daughters wedding and tried blaming us. Her lawyers withdrew the allegations after the report was sent. I have NEVER threatened any client not to review of go to social media - I am happy to send all correspondence between us to anyone. Anyone who knows us as a business knows we go beyond for all our clients in any circumstance no matter what but dishonesty will never be tolerated by us. Any client who want to see the correspondence, pictures and report drafted is welcome request it and have a look at our reviews and happy clients on our social media accounts.

I am the owner of Lilly Design Studio waiting for the business account approval on Hello Peter. Vanessa has been one of the most dishonest clients we have ever had. She ordered 5 dresses - we received fabric that was not an sufficient amount for the dresses - afterwards she sent incorrect fabric colour - changed the entire production line to accommodate her. While the dresses were made we sent her numerous pictures and pictures of the measurements on the final fitment - 11cm was added (pictures provided in the report) She was very happy when she received the dresses and weeks later she complained that dresses was suddenly too short - we asked her to send it back immediately so we can correct or redo the dresses right away. When the dresses arrived we could not even fit it over the original dress maker and the dresses shrinked about 1 size and was not the same lenght - proving she washed and tumble dried the dresses. We asked her and she denied it after we have photographic Proof that the dresses was correct. She chose to be dishonest and blame us thus we refused assistance- if you were honest we would have moved heaven and earth to assist which is what we have always done for all our clients. We are a company who lives our clients and have a reputation for being generous and doing all we can for our clients but we refuse to assist dishonest clients. I have never in my life been so ill treated as by this business. I paid her in full for 5 bridesmaids dresses. I sent her measurements as required and reminded her numerous times to please add the seam allowance as well as add 11cm length for shoes. She was very friendly while everything was going well. It was during December and all were on holiday except 1 lady. She had to queeze into the dress. It was way too small and short. I contacted the Chere who told me to send the dresses back. The wedding date being 3 Feb I now panicked as Chere informed me her workshop opens on 25 January!!!!! Imagine my frustration. That's 10 days before the wedding!! This woman had absolute no empathy and started accusing me of being dishonest!!! When asking her what she meant by that she told me she or her admin lady will send a report, which was never done. Only after I approached a lawyer she sent a report stating that I had done something to the dresses to shrink it. Either washed it in very hot water or tumbledried it. Who in their right mind would do that to silk material or before the ladies fit their dresses? I sent her screenshots of each and every time I asked her to add the 11cm for the shoes, where she then told me I should have checked the Invoice. This woman makes no sense at all!! She twisted each and every text message to make as though I am lying. She made me feel like a criminal trying to defraud her company. She sent all the dresses back to me, which is useless to me, and told my lawyer that she will from now on contact her legal team and I will be billed. She went as far as warning me not to say anything about her business in the media. She also didn't honor her word to refund the amount for 2 dresses which she mistakenly swopped colours. My goodness! I beg you, please stay away from this woman!!!! She will take your money and does not have a care in the world to help if something goes wrong. Fortunately I contacted someone else who made dresses for me. My daughters' wedding was absolutely perfect, despite this nightmare. I wish there was a negative star rating. I am still shocked........Scary to know there are people like this in the world. Terrible, absolutely terrible.

They quoted me on a dress for R1400 after they have *****ed up a dress. and Then was an agreement to send me material. to which they only sent me 2.5m one piece and then 50cm the other piece of fabric which totalled to about R250 rands worth of material. They never answer their phones. their customer service is up to ****. Never in my life again. Stay away from them.
