Bought a pair of boots. I fit them on at home and decided that I do not like them. I can't stand in them and feel off balance. I work during the week and took them back the next weekend. The sales lady refused a refund saying that it looks worn. It doesn't. It can't. I even took photo's. She was extremely rude and refused to give me her name. I emailed their department and just do not get a response back. I will never purchase from them again. They are very unprofessional. I am offended that they say I am lying. I was there on the 6th and 7th day, have my till slip, original packaging and no damage to the boots. They refuse to refund me.

I found Richard's video's on TikTok. He makes before and after video's showing his pool renovations. I made an enquiry and he called me to discuss my requirements and price. On 30 November 2023 he started the job and I paid him his 70% deposit. Then he disappeared the whole of December. My pool was supposed to be done by 6 December. I begged and pleaded the whole of December. He blocked me on TikTok so I can't see the other video's but I simply made another profile and could see he was doing work all over, except finishing my job. He eventually came on 8 January 2024, 12:00 to finish the pool at 20:00 in the evening. I paid him the balance. I told him that it is the rainy season and it is going to rain. And it did!!! It rained for 2 weeks so all the paint washed off. The pool was supposed to at least stand for the day, in the sun to dry enough in case of rain. Well, the whole of January he messed me around, won't take my calls and would only whatsapp when and if he feels like it. Always full of excuses. Eventually I begged him to just bring enough paint so I can get someone else to finish the job. He refuses telling me that he only does 1 coat and will never ever come to do another coat. Had he kept his word and finished my pool the first week in December this would have been avoided. I have now had to pay another contractor to finish the pool. Richard has caused me tremendous pain. I had to cancel family functions over the holiday season and had to now pay double to finish my pool. He is not to be trusted. His paint doesn't dry, and he treats you like ******* once he has your money. He refuses to bring the new light that I paid him for and would not put new sand in like he was supposed to either. Please please please!!! Don't use him. Your pool will be ruined and you will have to pay someone else to come do it over again.
I have never in my life been so ill treated as by this business. I paid her in full for 5 bridesmaids dresses. I sent her measurements as required and reminded her numerous times to please add the seam allowance as well as add 11cm length for shoes. She was very friendly while everything was going well. It was during December and all were on holiday except 1 lady. She had to queeze into the dress. It was way too small and short. I contacted the Chere who told me to send the dresses back. The wedding date being 3 Feb I now panicked as Chere informed me her workshop opens on 25 January!!!!! Imagine my frustration. That's 10 days before the wedding!! This woman had absolute no empathy and started accusing me of being dishonest!!! When asking her what she meant by that she told me she or her admin lady will send a report, which was never done. Only after I approached a lawyer she sent a report stating that I had done something to the dresses to shrink it. Either washed it in very hot water or tumbledried it. Who in their right mind would do that to silk material or before the ladies fit their dresses? I sent her screenshots of each and every time I asked her to add the 11cm for the shoes, where she then told me I should have checked the Invoice. This woman makes no sense at all!! She twisted each and every text message to make as though I am lying. She made me feel like a criminal trying to defraud her company. She sent all the dresses back to me, which is useless to me, and told my lawyer that she will from now on contact her legal team and I will be billed. She went as far as warning me not to say anything about her business in the media. She also didn't honor her word to refund the amount for 2 dresses which she mistakenly swopped colours. My goodness! I beg you, please stay away from this woman!!!! She will take your money and does not have a care in the world to help if something goes wrong. Fortunately I contacted someone else who made dresses for me. My daughters' wedding was absolutely perfect, despite this nightmare. I wish there was a negative star rating. I am still shocked........Scary to know there are people like this in the world. Terrible, absolutely terrible.
I bought a balance protection plan over the telephone which I paid each month, on time. I received my formal confirmation of retrenchment letter on 30 November 2020 and my last day was on 31 December. I submitted my application. After numerous phone calls and emails it was paid. A fantastic R181 x 6 months. The policy at this stage is more than R300 a month! I emailed the claim assessor to ask her how she came to this conclusion to which she just ignores me. So I called and spoke to someone else. He confirmed that the owed amount according to her was R1800. 10% of that is R181 for 6 months. I explained to him that that is impossible. I have my statements and can show him how much I owe. He said I should send it in and contact the complaints department. I said I will first try to reach out to the lady who worked on my case, although she has been ignoring me. I just want to be treated fairly. I didn't ask or ever wanted to be retrenched, but this is what happened. I always paid my credit card but I have no income now. Anyway, she still has not responded. I have had enough. This woman is heartless and has no work ethic. I asked her to please get back to me, there must be a mistake. Now, my credit card is just running up further with interest and she doesn't care. Is there someone that can assist me please? Someone who is fair and has a heart. Policy number P000006223362 I think she may have asked the balance in July (this is when I last received a salary) That's incorrect, I was still working for the company because they promised to pay our salaries up to date. This however did not happen and I was shocked to receive a notice of possible retrenchment.....which ended in a confirmed retrenchment end of November. I have all the documents etc. I just don't know and am not given the opportunity to speak to her as she refuses to reply. Please help. Vanessa
