My Husband went to the restaurant and asked the waiter to prepare a meal for him , he'll come back after 20 minutes then waiter told him "that's not allowed, he'll have to wait for it and leave with it" he then asked him what time are they closing? he said 10PM my husband left & came back at 9pm the restaurant stuff was already packing & cleaning he asked waiter where's his food? "The waiter told him they didn't prepare it cause the restaurant closes early when they are not that busy especially on Mondays " so they had an altercation until the restaurant manager intervened ,he told my Husband that the waiter mislead him , in hopes that the manager will make a plan for my husband guess WHAT? the very same manager ended up siding with his waiter ..what kind of a service do you guys run? This is nonsense you don't treat customers like that😡what management qualifications does he have for such POOR SERVICE? I am so disappointed and actually disgusted

Disgusting place that allows under age children in to drink! When approaching the manager she simply states if the parents allow the kids to drink then there is nothing they can do! This **** hole should be closed down!

Food Poisoning/Deliberate Endangerment using contaminated water!!! We had the unfortunate experience at Wildebeest Boksburg on Sunday 7 May 2023, 14 family and friends met for my cousins birthday which turned out to be a very expensive experience and the total lack of empathy for the extreme and violent illness that happened to all 14 us by the manager and owner is just shocking. Most of our group ended up having to go to hospital and be on drips for hours and we have tests to prove that indicates food poisoning and when we advised them they said impossible and then said they did think it is the water and since none of us ingested watering asked how that is possible they said 2 or 3 other restaurants below and next to them closed Friday and Saturday due to the possible water issue "colaria" and yet they stayed open and used that water knowing the possible risks making ice, washing dishes etc, should that be the case colaria is very dangerous especially for kids and we had 1 minor in our group. We got told not there fault and nothing will happen to them owner advised he has years of experience in the industry. My question is there were many other patrons did this only happen to us or were there others on the same day that also got ill? This is not about compensation but just the mere fact of humanity and the message that profits only mater for this establishment is shocking to say the least.

The owner contacted us via email saying the other resturants around him had closed due to the same reason but yet he stayed open for who knows what reason he was extremely rude and no people skills for a owner not worried about any customer but only about his business. A few of us also phoned to report and his other manager was just as rude as him on the phone saying it's the water. We did not drink any water. He then goes on to say they use the tap water to wash dishes and make ice. So if they knew the water was a problem with possible cholera why keep using it. So he was contaminating people knowing the water was a problem. We have incurred alot of medical bills and time off work plus money on medication. And the the owner Mike van vuuren attitude i*****r to put it nicely and his mangers aswel have obviously learnt his style of managing. We have reported them to the health department aswel and he though it was a big joke on the phone but clearly he has no idea. We spent about 6 there only for us to have poor food and all get sick and then deal with a rude manager who has no people skills and a filthy attitude. Not offering help in anyway or to ask how are the patients even but he was happy to take our money. Please do stay away as there.policies is obviously based on money and poor people skills not based on customer satisfaction

Very disappointed. We paid for a game of beer pong the waiter then instructed they have a tournament on and our group cannot play , this was after we paid. We were then told the money we paid will reflect back in our account within 48 hours which I told them this is the second time here they are telling me this and the first time it never came back into my account , now this happened a second time. We love Wildebeest but this is unacceptable as this is now the second time.

Wish I can rate them less than 1. Over priced, no regard for clients at lunch time the music is so loud you can not talk to who went with you. They refuse to put music softer. Owner has a **** rude attitude if you don't like it you can go. Worst inviroment ever. Will not even go back for a show or any other reason as the owner Mike is the Worst owner i ever saw

I was a waiter by wildebeest and i am here to tell my side of my story and experience. i will never ever look at a restaurant or company again after my experience as a trainee employee by wildebeest cause i was unfairly fired by Head manager and supervisor thats in second command did without a second chance or warning after something very simple that could have be sorted out as grown ups but instead i was let go cause of another employees stubbornness to admit her fault and i wont let it go cause i know someone else will be destroyed just as much as i was and as well labeled as an lair , i as a waiter is my duty and responsibility to give the best experience to any customer but after last night Friday the 7th in 2022 in June i was unfairly fired cause i wasn't allowed to serve a VIP table and i did so in my power to give my table off to the assigned waiter to the VIP section as she denied cause she already had another table that was in section A in wildebeest where all staff knew you are not allowed if your assigned to full attendance in VIP section to VIP guests so instead of abandoning my VIP guests and giving them bad customer experience and still get fired for it i served them and still i got fired by preforming my duty as a waitress and wasn't given a second chance or warning to fix the problem but instead be questioned and told to be a lair by only tree questions instead of explaining the matter i was told to cash up and never come back again, my favorite part was when i was fired i went to sit in the break room and await for my room mate with my face swollen from all the tears and destroyed confidence that there was no justice for my unfair deployment ,supervisor second in charge made it even sweeter by trying to chase me away and not even given me a chance to redeem myself all she could say was "the tribe has spoken and its a no" even when she said she doesn't even know the story of what happened and even much more better with a smile and laughter by saying"what are you still doing here you dont work here anymore as i explained my reason only to receive rolled eyes and attitude but its fine to make my situation worse and have me stand in the cold and dangerous streets of roaming drunk men and people that could mug me, i will never recommend wildebeest as a job nor will i eat there again knowing the system only likes some employees by who they like more but never by their hard work and hardship and honesty you get treated like you dont have a voice but here i do and i hope it spreads far wide to people that is thinking wildebeest is the best place to work for i promise you true colors will start showing and you will see the results i will always be thankful to some staff that made me comfortable enough to work there but i will never support wildebeest if the system is so corrupted until then apologies will never out weigh the pain that was reflected on me.

Here the so called bouncers watch how the people get assaulted in the toilets of all places. Bouncers stand in front of the door so that no one can go in or out.. You guys are pathetic. It does not say much of the management of the place.
