LUCKY FISH KALK BAY
Had luck at Lucky Fish in Kalk Bay at the Harbour. I must say it's was actually one of the worst experiences I've had to date. I bought platter and paid R295 for that. To find there. Was about 8 small pieces of calamari. Then the prawns was like rubber, probably grilled for too long. There was handful of chips in the box. The. We bought a another combo.... Calamari and prawns and yet the same thing again. This was R150. A complete waste of money. I will not ever go back there. We have gone to the other lucky fish in Fish Hoek. A million times better.

Fantastic Food & Great Atmosphere!
Lucky Fish is an absolute gem! The food is fresh, flavourful, and cooked to perfection. From the delicious seafood to the perfectly seasoned dishes, every bite was a treat. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting, making it the perfect spot to enjoy a great meal. The service was excellent too—friendly, attentive, and welcoming. Deeply dissatisfied, and I doubt I will be returning.
Hello, I have been a loyal customer of Lucky Fish for many years. My sons, now aged 23–25, and I have been visiting your establishment since they were in junior school. However, over the years, I’ve noticed a decline in service quality. What’s even more concerning is that the portion sizes have significantly decreased, despite the rising prices. Unfortunately, today’s experience was the final straw for me. What was supposed to be a family dinner turned into a disappointing evening. The snoek was of poor quality, and the portions of chips and hake were far too small. The so-called "family portion" was barely enough for two people. If you advertise a family portion, it should genuinely meet those expectations. This experience has left me deeply dissatisfied, and I doubt I will be returning.

Good day with kiddies
The service at Lucky Fish Cafe is nothing short of exceptional. The staff members are incredibly friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. From the moment I took my seat, I felt welcomed and valued as a customer. Their menu boasts a wonderful selection of dishes that cater to a variety of tastes

THE ORDER WAS COMPLETELY WRONG AND ICE COLD
I ordered via the Mr Delivery website last evening 26th April. We waited over an hour for delivery and the food arrived colder than cold!! The order was completely wrong and we never received three items which is on our order and paid for. we complained on the Mr D website and got a ticket number, but no response ever since. I will never buy from Lucky Fish and chips Muizenberg ever again. What a *******. The three items were a hake fillet R100-00, a roll and tartar sauce (probably around R25-00), totalling R125-00......

Poor quality and worst value for money
Worst value for money. Their portions are terrible, the quality isn't as good as it started out and they don't present their meals nicely especially when it's a takeaway. They are expensive with nothing to show behind it.
