I had a very unfortunate incident on my way to George next to the Squatter Camp just outside De Rust Town, they put a huge rock the size of soccer ball in the middle of the road, i was on my BMW R 1200 RS and could not see the rock , unfortunately i hit it on the side of my motorbike's rim and cracked it wide open and got stuck, thanks for the excellent service from Michelle that works in the Motorbike reception area, she was very accommodating to arrange a pick up of my motorcycle to be collected from my brothers house in George to the dealership, the parts unfortunately had to be ordered from Germany, not one day has passed without her keeping me in the loop , they are an outstanding team and i would like to thank them for the great service they provide.

X5 vehicle was sent for replacement of oil breather pipe. Feedback from Lynn Schroeder that both front bearings seized and had to be replaced. R21 000 later received vehicle back with both front discs scratched, sound from front that was not present when the vehicle was booked, and the vehicle felt unstable. After complaining discs were skimmed. Nobody had the decency to inform us that there was an “accident” and therefore discs scratched, they just kept quiet. Shame on you!!! I contacted the owner for a test drive. The owner not making himself available immediately, and after a few telephone calls to get hold of him and emails he agreed to come to my house. He arrived with his master technician. As my husband was out of town I decided to record the conversation to report back to him of what was being said. The technician drove the vehicle back home with myself present as well as the owner of Lynn Schroeder sitting in the back. I had to leave the vehicle to open the boom when the following was said and recorded: “What about the vibration, she did not mention anything about that!” No, just leave it. Laat ons nou nie krap waar dit nie jeuk nie.” I instructed the owner to replace both front discs, it was eventually replaced. Vehicle was sent to Das Auto in George for something else. Excellent service, and no rip-off like Lynn Schroeder. They could not fix the handbrake and the vehicle was sent to Continental BMW in Port Elizabeth which is the nearest other BMW dealer. Excellent service, friendly people, comfortable lounge areas where you can wait while your car is being serviced. Was back in George at 3 pm the afternoon. Reported the recording of what was said to BMW SA, still waiting their reply. It is really worth taking the short drive to PE if Das Auto cannot assist. Complaint re both front discs to BMW SA: Standard practice that if one part fail on left side, they replace both left and right. I contacted the owner, sent him the audio clip and accusing him of being dishonest. He took exception to that!!!???

First of all I ordered carpets with a read seam for my Mini Countryman S witch was just over R1500.00... it came with fine red stitching witch is barely noticeable... looks dirt cheap!! I told the guy this cant be right... on your pc says red seam.. I gave it back to him to make double sure, he told me it’s the only ones mini have available with red... even though it came from Germany. Secondly... they send me a message to bring my car in to get my spare key... they didn't even have an order number from the dealership I bought my car.. waisted my time in traffic and my petrol!!! Third and last... Monday the 3rd I got an image from the guy that is busy upgrading my exhaust system of my old fuel filter laying ontop of the pipe that leads to my turbo after I sent it to them for a service .. I’ve been messaging them, got a phone call... they are looking into it.... how ****** long does it take to look into the fact that they put a persons life in danger????

This is my last review of the above mentioned BMW garage in George. Initially I was schocked at the treatment which I stated in ny first review. I Received my BMW on Monday and I 'm pleased to say that I these people bend backwards to get the part quicker than 21 day's . I specially want to thank Jaco , the technician that replaced the parts and flushed the whole fuel system. He did an excellent job and I returned to my home in Bloemfontein effortlessly. Furthermore I must mention the friendly admin . People , Steven and Nannette and the people of the parts department. Thanks to Raymond Botha who gave me a courteousy car to drive for 2 days. It really ment a lot to me.

Hi Peter After my hello peter they treatet me quite nice. The manager gave me a 320 i BMW after I explained my circumstances to him.then on Friday they told me to bring the car back because another customer needs it. On my arrival,The mechanic explained to me that there were sand in diesel tank, and even showed me a photo. He told me that he flushed it and that it is now clean. He further told me that he wil go down the fuel line and eventually sort it out.The cost at this stage stands at R18 000.. The fuel pump in the fuel tank he said is the first to replace ,but it is on backorder and could take up to 21 days to arrive, and if het had a choice he would replace everything ;fuel tank the filter the 2 pumps and even the injectors. He is obviously a knowledgeable man. But one of the many reasons I drive a BMW , is that the computers attached to the car to diagnose will tell you exactely what the problem is because there is sensors all over. Why tell me he is guessing or that is the impression I got. Before I took the courtesey car back I drove to Mosselbay to buy a busticket for my people back to Bloemfontein. My self is stuck with our dogs here until the car is repaired. The manager told me by phone that there are ways to get the parts here sooner and even offer to organize a rental car for a better price but I decined the offer because of the many people and friends I know that retired here and might lend me a car. I would like to give another review after this ordeal

My mini Cooper S went to Lynn Schroeder motors last year to have timing belt replaced. Nothing else was wrong with vechile and I was assured by Mr. BT Moore that he himself drove vechile and everything was in working order as he drove car himself. I arranged low bed at own cost to be transferred from George to SMG South Coast. When O received vechile the radio wasn't working among other things. It was just before Christmas and the radio was sent to the OEM Audio Parow with report - after bad service till now and not getting hold of Mr. Moore for quite sometime refuse to pay for repair. This is unexceptable and I am not being held liable for it as the vechile was in working order before going to Lynn Schroeder motors. I'm highly upset as I want to sell it and in meanwhile the value of my vechile is decreasing monthly!!!
