Terrible experience !!!
Worst company ever. They talk and treat you nicely before you pay after that its a **** show. No communication no ****s, i had to wait more than 24 hours for my scheduled move and guess what they literally got guys off the street to move my things, completely unprofessionally. Its like you dealing with kids

****ty unprofessional moving company
Horrible experience. They were 8 hours late for a move that was supposed to be quick and simple. Had to move late at night, and now try to make arrangements with the estate managers outside of moving hours. The manager Maison had the audacity to want to complain and rush us and threaten to unload. What a stupid fool. Not once did he apologize, as if they doing me a favor. I will never ever use this company again and highly do not recommend anyone to use them.

Horrible experience. They were 8 hours late for a move that was supposed to be quick and simple. Had to move late at night, and now try to make arrangements with the estate managers outside of moving hours. Maison is a scammer
This is a scammer a fraud, he will take your money and not deliver. Going legal will be your only recourse. Be weary of Maison, he starts off sweet and then he gets disrespectful and does not answer your calls he will eventually be the most disrespectful and horrible person. And if you decide to go with him and his sub contracted team they will break your goods and not assist you

Maison is a scammer

Empty box delivered
Hi Please assist us with this query My father had ordered two items from this place from they threadmenswear. He had ordered a VERSACE tshirt and sneakers, however when the items were delivered the box was empty, we have gone up and down trying to get assistance however with no luck, we have been incontact with a gentlemen named Phil, however we have not gotten any assistance. The sneakers were very expensive andd its clear that they were ither not put in the box or they were stolen. Please assist, The order number is: #2395 (WEB2395) , My fathers name is Mondli Madondo

Maison Movers for your worst furniture removal
<p> </p> <p>Please be aware that Maison movers are the worst furniture removal company ever. To summarize</p> <p>1. They arrived 6 hours later than the original time booked with no apology or update during the day we had to phone him continuously for updates.<br />2. On the morning of the move he called and informed us that he can be there two hours earlier than the original booking time but arrived 8 hours later.<br />3. Truck arrives late with promises made by John the owner with every excuse under the sun and he has a don’t care attitude and will selectively answer his phone. <br />4. John from Maison movers is an arrogant liar who does not care about customers- quoted for an 8 ton truck but arrives with a 4 ton truck. It is likely that he operates under many different business names as the service he provides is so shoddy – I have found him listed with multiple company names.<br />5. The team with this small truck arrive and have will not treat your goods with care dragging and damaging furniture. Very few blankets to protect your furniture.<br />6. His team will throw around your boxes even if marked as fragile and have little to no respect for your belongings by trying to squeeze a load for an 8 ton truck into a 4 ton truck. <br />7. Truck on arrival gets here with not enough diesel for the move resulting in more delays in having to find a place to fill up..This after being late is an indication of a Mickey Mouse operation that John runs.<br />8. Due to the small truck that arrived I had to rely on family and friends to move the remainder of goods and when I called to complain during the course of our 8 hrs of waiting John agreed on a lower cost however on “completion” of the job he quite aggressively demanded his full price which I paid under duress as his driver and staff were quite antagonistic, had to get my armed response in to feel safer.</p> <p>John which I suspect is not his real name, is a conman who does not stick to his word and I would steer clear of Maison Movers He has a don’t care attitude to customers and will make you house moving a nightmare, he is a greedy unscrupulous character and I should have seen the warning signs by checking previous HelloPeter complaints before I trusted you company who were very responsive in getting the quote done but selectively answering the phone when it’s time to get the job done.</p> <p>Use Maisons Movers at your risk and be prepared for the worst most unprofessional moving company you will ever deal with.</p> <p> </p>

Bad management
<p>Most horrible moving experience ever, excluding the moving team who were great and extremely helpful, our biggest issue was with the man who booked our move John, he booked our moving date on the wrong date, which led to the moving truck to be 4 hours late., John then supplied the movers with the delivery address instead of the pick up address which re****ed in the move to be even later than expected. When trying to speak to John he would be rude and completely unhelpful and hangs up the phone in your ear. I will NOT recommended this moving company for anyone!!!!!!! </p>

Bad management

Stick to the calculated and agreed upon deal to move!
<p>We had secured a furniture move from a company call Maison Movers for move from Vereeniging to Klerksdorp. they gave us a good rate, which I thought was fair and we agreed to the terms of the deal: Rx to move my parents' furniture on a specific date.</p> <p>The crew arrived on time and started packing, BUT THEN I get called over by the supervisor / head mover and told the guy who quoted on the move, John, wants to talk me. He then proceeds to tell me that they quoted incorrectly and they didn't take into account the distance of the move, the truck will be heavy on petrol and him guys still need to get paid.</p> <p>John, why is this my problem? We agreed on a deal and now YOU'RE not happy because you messed up the quote?</p> <p>It took at least 10 phone calls and speaking to the owner of the company, Calvin, to get the matter resolved: We had to pay an extra R600 or they would call their movers back to the office and we'd be stuck with out getting moved!</p> <p>How do you do business like this? how can you possibly hope to surivive when your customers have to oay for you staff's incompetence? </p> <p>In closing: their crew was magic! Loaded everything in an hour, once the money issues were sorted. Got to the detination in very good time. Ofloaded in record time! Maybe these guys should go into business for themselves and not work for Maison Movers.<br />Don't EVERT trust Maison Movers to quote properly or to stick to the conditions of the deal agreed to. Worst moving experience ever!</p>
