Bought a Angle grinder 2600W and after 3 months stops working, they say at the repair center over worked but it has a warranty and was chosen as industrial machine to be used when purchased at Adendorffs

#SupportLocal Hi Makita just want to say thank you for good service delivered. I wish i still had the job card number but after a good house cleaning session I misplaced it. to start I have booked my Makita battery power blower in at Chamberlains for repairs my blower was about 3 to 4 years old and the trigger switch was faulty so on my way to Chamberlains I was making sums of how much it will cost me and will it be worthwhile to repair it, it was just over R1000-00 when I bought it so I was willing to spend about R400-00 to repair it so I asked the guy how long will it take for the repair, he said about 3 weeks. After about 4 weeks I phoned Chamberlains to hear if my repair was ready He said to me yes and I can come and collect so I asked him how much was the repair cost so He said to me there was no repair cost I can just collect it. I was so overwhelmed about the service I can still not keep quiet about it. more and more people will eventually hear about this great service Makita delivered. I always say Great after sales service can create customer loyalty and lead to more customers. I just want to say thank you Makita I really appreciate what you did for me and I hope other will also see this so that they can make the right choice when buying power tools. Thanks Gert Swartz

After I wrote a review about Makita city deep, I was called in to come collect my Angle grinder. When i arrived I met up with the service manager David Van wyk. He explained why they were charging me and he even showed me the damage, which it makes sense were they are coming from. The manager was so helpfull in explaning what to do if it locks next time. I think he is very informative about his machine an job. My machine was fix at no cost. Thank you to Makita city deep and David for your help and information. You did show you care for your customers after all. YES I WILL STILL BUY MAKITA. Thank you ones more

I bought one of those Makita drill box sets from makro a couple of months ago. The drill then stopped working after a while. I returned it to Makro and Makro sent it to Makita for repairs. Upon receiving the drill back their was a hand scratched engraving of a job number on the side of the drill. I took it back to Makro as this is unacceptable. Then today someone phoned me from Makita's workshop trying to explain why they do it and also said that I never told them not to scratch on it.

Personally this is ridiculous! That is why they invented a serial number and PC's to keep track of items. You do not send in your car to a dealership and ask them to please not scratch their job number on it..!! I mean come on....
