Bad Managers!
Honestly, I've been coming to Mannys for many years and in the last 2/3years I have been truly disappointed by the Staff and how they're treated , The managers are so rude and disrespectful towards clients and their co workers , it's disgusting seeing no team effort and kindness towards one another! The workplace seems to be childish and petty among the chatting ive heard , Besides terrible managers and bad customer care , I've always been happy with my products and sand deliveries ! They seem to always get that right ! I hope mannys gets around to solve this issue , maybe try some team building!

A Case of Card theft
I went through a terrible ordeal. I missed placed my bank while shopping at Mannys. This was last in October 2022. This year on the 13th of February 2023. I saw transactions on the lost card while I was at home. I went to the stores it was swiped and requested footage, One of the stores was a Liquor Store on Pretoria Road in Rynfield. I was given footage of a lady that works at Mannys wearing their uniform , tapping my card at the Liquor Store and there was a few other stores before this. On the Footage The lady called Fatima who works at the Building Counter was the one who was using my card. I then contacted the store and reported the matter to a gentleman called Dawie who happens to be her partner or husband or he is the head of security. The case has been reported and opened. But Dawie started ignoring my texts when I did follows up and nothing was done about my matter.

Inverter by Mannys Hardware
Middag ek het gister die inverter by u winkel gekoop. Glad nie in 'n boks maar toe gedraai in plastiek. Het hom 18:00 in geplak en hy het gewerk tot 24:00. Toe beurt krag aankom toe wys hy kode 02. Dit wil voorkom of dit reeds' n inverter is wat al terug gestuur was om reg gemaak te word aangesien hy nie in 'n boks was nie. Dit is onaanvaarbaar om ' n nuwe ding te koop wat foutief is en dan weier julle om dit om te ruil. Groete Carieny

Hidden additional costs.
Paid in full for roof extensions as per plans submitted to Manny's. Timber was delivered & fitted (eventually) but they conveniently forgot to take the wall "alterations" into account when quoting & designing new trusses. I asked for a full quote as per plan submitted to them - i got it. Work would only commenced when i paid in full - I paid. Now i must pay an additional fee for work that was quoted on initially but not done. Absolutely disgraceful ! I must also phone and chase up the contractors myself - as Manny's hands it over and forgets about it once they are paid. Do Not use Manny's for roofing requirements - it gets very expensive when paying for little extras they conveniently forget about !!

Upset
I was at mannys hardware today to collect my stuff that I bought last year in October. I was turned away by two managers the other manager that was called by James refused to give me his name, they couldn't assist me because the reciept I no longer have fed away, I brought my banking statement and the card I used last year, I was still turned away, I spent R500 to collect my stuff and also paid the bank charges to collect my bank statements I was still turned away I am not gonna give up on my money so easily You really upset me and inconvenienced me on my project, I got into so many cost because of you
