This is one of the worst service providers I have ever dealt with! I ordered a small service called a "virtual landline number" from them in September 2018. After initially struggling to get it activated / set up, I was up and running. I then received my first invoice for R40 (which is for the monthly rental of the number). I then paid the amount of R55 to cover the monthly rental and for some credit for calls. Their process is that you have to send them the proof of payment with the account number as reference (which I did) in order to have the funds allocated. After numerous emails, attempted calls, messages via WhatsApp the initial R55 has STILL not been allocated to this date! The virtual number has been suspended since October 2018 since "no payment / credit" has been allocated, but no one has even attempted to resolve this! I have since cancelled the service, but have not received any confirmation of receipt of the cancellation (after explicitly asking them for this). Never in my life have I struggled this much with a service provider - and honestly, I cannot even call them a service provider. They are a product seller. Simple as that. No after sales support. No customer care. No accountability. Nothing. Do yourself a favour and stay away from this company. They will harm your business more than helping it.

I've been waiting on technical support multiple times for having a simple request like my password reset. The most ludicrous response I received lately is that "support will only be able to assist from 12pm". I can't even put reasoning behind such a bad business practice. It's been ongoing and the quality of this company's customer service is piteous.

I've place an order over a month ago and paid the money for 100GB per month and I've never heard anything from there. I received an email to submit my Rica documents and still no response. Before I made a payment I was getting regular responses but now it's quiet. I think Ecotel is fraudulent and I'm really disappointed by the service. Please deliver my son card or refund me back my money. This is my order number: 13782 Mabel

To my utter disgusts I am getti g no joy from Ecotel and am starting to think they are fraudulent. I ordered and paid for my LTE service on 4 feb sending Rica and payment confirmation. When I followed up on the 7th I was told for some unknown reason the order was not finalised. Ayanda then finalised it and said I would receive a tracing number, which to date has not happened. I am extremely disappointed in the lack of service I'm getti g fro. A company that rates their service the best on their website. The failure to meet any of their values on their Webpage is infuriating. How can yo offer ISP and telecommunications Services when you say you didn't receive emails and can't answer calls?? I want all my money back because I cannot see you delivering any kind of service of use to me.

They do not know what they are offering. I ask them a question and it takes a day for them to give a response. It really is frustrating. I hope they rethink this whole business because you cannot treat potential customers this way and hope they will be confident enough to trust you t help them in their hour of need.
