Poor Quality of product and service.
Had a Maxidoor gate fitted at my holiday unit in Cape Town. These gates are not cheap but chose to go for a good quality gate as advertised. Within a year the gate was badly rusted. I had to make a special trip to Cape Town from Durban to have the gate replaced and I was told that there had been an issue at the factory that caused the gate to not be properly rusted proofed. In under 6 months the gate stated to rust again, I sent through my claim with numerous photos, emails and just didn’t any response. It’s been more than 6 months with no feedback. Very poor service and they advertise a 5 year guarantee of their product. Very disappointing

We installed roller shutters and polycarbonate bars. I would highly recommend this company and their team. Lauryn(office), Winston (sales), Lorenzo( an absolute asset in the technical/installation division)Eric in technical/installation(his work ethic is absolutely commendable) and Massimo***ner). We had a minor issue after installation and Maxidor sent the team of Winston/Lorenzo out within 3 days(hours out of CT) and the issue was resolved so efficiently due to the technical knowledge and ability of Lorenzo. Their technical team make a real lasting impression and Winston ensures that what we paid for is what we received. We have had excellent service from the start to now. In a time where trust and service is becoming rare it is refreshing to see a company stand by their staff, their product and their promise. Well done Maxidor Bellville (Cape Town).

Bad BAD service.
As they are not the cheapest, we expect expert and professional service from them. The installation was late, the new shutter door loud and with now backup for loadshedding. To day the door stop to work and Max and Winston came to have a look, and look it remained with garage open for every one. They come with no tools, no skills on the motor.

Maxidor Cape Town - BAD - Service - Think Twice
Emailed them on the 30 August 2023 and emailed them again 9 days later and to date there has been no feedback regarding a Maxidor they installed which opens difficult. I called their office 010 443 6060 and to date I have not heard from them. As for customer service Maxidor is not recommended! Think twice I am also now in doudt regaring their products! Their biggest compeditor installed louveres through out my previous house and they responded within hours with problems we had.

Maxidor promises 10-15 working day delivery, it's more like 25-30 workings days. Security gate installed without additional keys last Wednesday. I was promised delivery of additional keys by Celia last Friday. ( Nothing). Spoke to Max on Tuesday promised delivery of keys by Wednesday. (Nothing). Spoke to Celia on Wednesday, promised delivery of Keys on Thursday.( Nothing). Spoke to Celia on Thursday, promised delivery of keys first thing Fiday morning. ( You guessed it, still nothing. ) A whole week of promises. Can't complain about customer service, there is none.

Stay well away from these people
This is a public service announcement to please not use this company for any reason whatsoever. I was so badly treated throughout the process. The abusive communication when they were 4 months late in delivering and installing my product. Then, less than a year later the key broke in the lock late at night. I had to get a locksmith to get into my house. I was told I had overused the key so I had breached my warranty. I do not want you to have the same experience as me. Please stay well away from them. That is all.
