McPhersons a place to feel relaxed and to enjoy good food and excellent service.
Once again today I was blown away by the amazing treatment by the staff and on hand owners of McPhersons. Today was a remembrance day for a family member, but although it was their downtime, they went out of their way to make us feel welcome and allowed us time to sit peacefully and reminisce. We have had family birthdays, baby showers and Wakes for our loved ones as well as an evening out and never have we been disappointed by the courtesy and family atmosphere. I would totally recommend McPhersons for meals, breakfasts and events. Thank you to all at McPhersons.

Stunning Wedding at Mcphersons
Had an amazing and unforgettable day hosting our wedding at the beautiful McPhersons Wedding Venue. The staff and managers were truly amazing and helpful people and did everything possible to ensure that our perfect day really was perfect. Their service is top notch, the venue is breathtaking, the food leaves you wanting more and more. I would definitely recommend McPhersons to any new couple looking to plan their big day and we will certainly be hosting more events at this beautiful venue.

Anything but great!
I've heard some great things about McPhersons leading up to my visit there but I have to say that my experience was anything but great. Having employees smoke and drink behind the bar while serving you is NOT an experience any customer would want. The accommodation is overpriced and definitely underdelivered and if you like rubber eggs and burnt coffee with your breakfast then this is the place to be!

I've heard some great things about McPhersons leading up to my visit there but I have to say that my experience was anything but great. Having employees smoke and drink behind the bar while serving you is NOT an experience any customer would want. The accommodation is overpriced and definitely underdelivered and if you like rubber eggs and burnt coffee with your breakfast then this is the place to be!

Valentine disaster
This rating should actually be no stars. And please people do advise if I am over-reacting. So here is my story: My partner bought a wikideal voucher for McPhersons last month and on the 31Jan 2018 we called to make a voucher booking for the upcoming Friday 2 Feb 2018. McPhersons then called us that very Friday to cancel our booking due to the fact that they have a private function (now bare in mind, the terms and conditions on the voucher states that we customers shud cancel atleast 24hours in advance but they 'McPhersons' can call you as the customer on the day to cancel) Anyway we decided to use one of our other vouchers for a Town restaurant on that day. I then checked out their terms and conditions and all it states is voucher avail Mon-Fri and booking must be made etc. I then told my partner the 7th Feb to call McPhersons and ask them if we are able to make a booking for Valentines day as the terms do NOT state (not available on public holiday or special event nights etc like other deals stipulates (eg. Casa bella) He then called 7 Feb 2018 a spoke with a male advising we have a wikideal and would like to book for the 14 Feb 2018 @ 18:30pm. We were then content and happy to have secured a Valentine dinner booking well in advance. So yesterday round noon my partner calls me to say i just double checked to confirm our wikideal booking and all is in order. He even said the gentleman made a joke with him, asking 'so how many girlfriends will u be bringing along'. Anyway so we drive after work on a week night in traffic, all the way from Plumstead to Tableview and still call them to say we will be slightly late due to traffic. Upon being seated and asked if our orders cud be taken we discovered by the waiter that we are not doing voucher bookings tonight only a set menu which costs R200pp. Obviously I ask to speak to the manager Luke to advise him that we have called twice just to confirm this booking as we came all the way from Plumstead. His exact words were people make mistakes, thats life, but you cant blame me for someone else's mistake. We dont have any burgers in our kitchen only this 3 course set menu today. With that being said I obviously did not feel like staying there and I personally feel that They should be liable for our petrol of 26km travel too and 26km travel from and also the money we spent on supper in the Blouberg area which was absolutely unesseceary. My partner felt so bad and I was also very disappointed in the way the issue was handled. Becoz its not like we stay around the corner they cud have made a concession to give us some type of burger as we followed all the rules as suggested on the terms of the wiki deals.

Bad Attitude (Manager&Owner) & Dissapointing Meals
What a disappointing lunch visit at McPherson's yesterday! We were a group of about 16 people celebrating a Birthday. Firstly, our food arrived in drips and drabs. Yes, a large table BUT then management should plan ahead and provide 2 or 3 waitrons for us. The food was ice cold (not one thing on my plate was warm). The Menu stipulates \roast potatoes"with the Sunday Roast but we were all given boiled baby potatoes. I asked the waiter why- he said the Manager would come &"
