I bought an AENO blender from Metro and was misled by the advertising — it does not perform as promised (can’t blend dates properly, soup-making and self-cleaning functions ineffective). When I returned it within 7 days, I was refused an exchange/refund even though the Consumer Protection Act clearly allows it. I have formally reported Metro to the National Consumer Commission (complaints@thencc.org.za) and Gauteng Consumer Affairs (consumer@gauteng.gov.za). I strongly encourage other consumers facing similar treatment to do the same. Metro does not respond to complaints on HelloPeter, which speaks volumes. Consumers deserve accountability.

I am doing business for years with Metro. But you only get good service if certain people are there. Today 2 men were very rude and wanted to charge the same price for damaged material that were in a marked down box as the normal quality. Really your male staff needs to do better. Especially the one sitting at his table and the thin one making if he is running the place. I will from now on rather take the trip to town to go to Pretorius street. At least they are friendly and helpful. Very disappointed in a business that i supported for years as a designer

I went to Pretoria branch on Friday the 17th to buy a material for someone. I went there with a sample so the lady who assisted me gave me a similar they didn't cut from the roll because the material was finished, so they gave everything from the roll. The time when she was folding the material l noticed that it was no the same with my sample l did ask her she said no it's the same it's only that the lighting makes it differ but everything is the same. I took it and l did send to my client unfortunately my client said it's different even the texture so l returned it. To say the truth they way they talked to me was bad they refused to take it back of which it was uncut l was told to wait for the HOD l was called the the lady who assisted me on Friday explained the matter in their language l didn't hear anything and she said l don't want to hear the story we are not taking it back. I didn't explain anything. Customer service is bad

I bought 4 plate gas stove and the oven does not bake/cook food on top.technicians came they said no falty to repair but that oven had manufacture fault as it does not do the work according to the manual.Metro failed me they never want to meet with me i wrnt there several times the manager is in the meeting and the assistant is forever offsick or meeting.all i wanted was to top up and get electric stove to accommodate my needs.still today Metro nebver gave me the report from their side everytime the tell me about Defy but i bought from Metro Homr centre CBD

They advertised heaters online and i bought 2x, when i went to collect i was made to wait for more than 2hrs, the security guy had to frequently call dispatch to remind them i was waiting. The dispatch guy eventually can with a story that the heaters were in bad condition i must check others then pay the difference or he will refund me, i then asked to see the heaters in bad condition seeing the ones he was suggesting were more than double the amount. we went to the storeroom, lo and behold even the damaged ones were not available which means they were lying once again.

I had a very bad experience with ILTEJA @MHC, He kept me waiting telling that system is offline @ Vodacom. His service is very poor waited almost an 1hr only to check with the other consultant that system its working perfectly.

Rude personnel and no customer courtesy at all. Calls being dropped and refused to get my query escalated to the manager. Consultant by the name Million, I have never encountered such rude and pathetic service in my entire life. Please not buy anything from them
