Poor Service – International Qualification Verification I am extremely frustrated with MIE’s handling of my International Qualification Verification. I have submitted my qualification along with the official SAQA verification certificate confirming that my international qualification has already been evaluated and certified. Despite this, I continue to receive the same repeated feedback, NQF level not verified yet I've submitted the NQF verification certificate with my qualification.... The ongoing back-and-forth is unnecessary and reflects poor service delivery, especially considering the documentation has already been vetted by SAQA. I really wonder what are we being billed for. Really frustrating process.

Poor Service – International Qualification Verification I am extremely frustrated with MIE’s handling of my International Qualification Verification. I have done my finger print check on friday 23/02/2026 the process was for 48hrs and up to so far I didn't receive the results. Tried to call and even send an email and only not to be assisted

MIE has incorrectly reported a ******** record that was legally expunged during a recent background check. I am in possession of an official Expungement Certificate, yet this information was still disclosed, causing prejudice and delays in my employment process. An expunged record should not be reported or re**** upon, and its disclosure raises serious concerns regarding accuracy, fairness, and POPIA compliance. I am requesting that MIE urgently investigate and correct the report, and confirm in writing that no ******** record exists.

Very disappointing experience, level of service is on par with a Government department. my payment was allocated incorrectly to the wrong ID number and after two weeks of back-and-forth emails Im still waiting for a simple qualification check. The phone does not get answered. If it were my company I'd fire the entire call centre , what a disaster.

Very disappointing experience, level of service is on par with a Government department. my payment was allocated incorrectly to the wrong ID number and after two weeks of back-and-forth emails Im still waiting for a simple qualification check. The phone does not get answered. If it were my company I'd fire the entire call centre , what a disaster.

Zero stars -- in fact - "de-zar-stars"--they should be shut down...the most useless bunch of people I have ever had the unfortunate opportunity to have to deal with...would not recommend ...i can guarantee you will have problems...

This company is a major frustration and a nightmare to deal with. I paid submitted a request for three certificates to be verified. The first feedback was that certification of documents needed is necessary. The second complaint was that not all documents were attached. When I confirmed with the responsible person the finding was that she did not understand how to use a mouse and scroll down in a document. When she realized her mistake she raised a new complaint that the documents are certified by a Commissioner of Oaths and not the SAPS. Apparently MIE Background Screening do not accept documents verified by a Commissioner of Oaths but only documents certified by SAPS who are in many instances *******. From a legal perspective they have no right not to accept documents certified by a Commissioner of Oaths. This is not mentioned when I paid for their services. Not only is the process delayed by a person who is not able to operate a mouse they force down rules which do not meet with legal requirements. Their poor ratings on social media also speaks for itself. They actually stole my money.

MIE ****med us out of R554,84. (MIE Ref # 19136147) 16 June 2025: We paid and booked online for "expedited" service for a ******** Clearance needed for work. We heard nothing from them. 27 June 2025: I called HQ. They asked which day would suit us for prints, and we said the third of July. They emailed us a doc "to confirm the status of the booking confirmation" 3 July 2025: We went to the PE branch as arranged telephonically. The guy there said the booking is not on his system, but he would take the prints (which he did) and add them. We heard nothing for a week. 11 July 2025: I called again to ask whether it had been added to the system. Angelique answered and confirmed that it was done and would confirm via email. This was never done. 16 July 2025: I called HQ. Indiwe told me we didn't keep the appointment! (not true) And that MIE will refund us IF we pay a refund fee! (This is typical of a ****) 16 July 2025: Angelique from PE called and apologised profusely and said they probably lost the prints. She promised to check and call me back within half an hour. ****! She never did. 17 July 2025: After not being able to get through to Angelique telephonically, I smsed to ask what's going on. She smsed back to say she would have feedback by 19 July. ****! This was not given. 21 July 2025: After insisting on a response, I got an email from Angelique: "Yes her fingerprints is on system. Just make a new booking and pay, we will submit and you will receive results via email." So they had the prints, but wanted us to pay AGAIN. ****MERS and ****S. I gave MIE time to respond, but unfortunately, to date, 30 July 2025, we haven't got our money back, nor the results. So we paid for ZERO service. I will now be forced to take the matter further via Civil Summons and/or a ******** Theft case if we don;t get a refund soon.
