I bought a bmw about 4 months ago at Motorama. I went to bmw and they gived me the following comments on the car: Motorama solded me a write off car and didn't tell me anything about it before I bought the car. What now?

Good day, I bought the polo vivo at Rustenburg Motorama last year in July 2020 I experienced some problems in the car,we some of them I did fix them myself which they know about and kept saying I should bring the to be fixed but they failed . BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN BUYING CARS FROM MOTORAMA RUSTENBURG, people are not always honest out there. I was in the market to purchase a used car. Saw one that I like on above dealers website and enquired about it. I spoke to Herman, asked him the condition of the car and if anything needs to be done. This is including the paint job as the pictures do show a difference in the shade of paint. He advised me the car is in really good condition for the age and that when you buy a car you do a thorough check before selling it. Also he knew the last owner well. • He said that in the pictures the paint looks different but in reality it looked the same. • Said all tyres are good • Initially said had full service history then came back to say it does not, which I accepted. • Also that the car was not in an accident as such. With all that being said, I was happy. And being a so cold reputable dealer I paid upfront before going to look at the car. On my arrival at dealer (+-200 kms from where I live), I found below: • Both bumpers and side skirts were of different shade • Right front fender and door also different shade. • Front brakes about 1 mm left(basically no brakes) • Right rear tyre worn to wear limit • Clutch slipping(car was revving faster than the actual speed) • A very bad knocking noise from front suspension when turning. I was still willing to take the car with the body work like that but after driving and noticing these other problems, I said to myself, “what else must be wrong with this car that I have not checked yet” I asked Hans(sales manager)how did this car pass a road worthy/101 point check” with these issues. I got no answer. He offered to even replace the brake pads there (while I wait) and also I must give him R1000.00 and he will replace the clutch for me. What business practice was that? I advised them, due to this I do not want the car and if they could refund me. I was told they can but will charge a 5% cancellation fee. I lost R3800.00 plus my travelling to you because of good reference I got for this dealer and what was sold to me over the phone. I have come to terms with it and all I can say is that I learnt my lesson. DO NOT TRUST SALES PEOPLE. To top it all, one off the sales persons there, gave my number to the next potential buyer. Somebody from Durban. Was a surprise to me but I explained to him what needed to be done. I did not expect the car to be perfect or in new condition but at least be in a road worthy condition. I have expressed my dissatisfaction to the dealer but with a resounding don't care attitude. They say they send theirs cars to a independent roadworthy centre but highly doubt it as if it was sent to a approved centre, they would have picked up that it needed brakes, clutch , tyre, suspension repair etc. Also the fact that they acknowledged these issues, makes me wonder??????

<p>Hello</p> <p>i am so unhappy about my services at motorama rustenburg.</p> <p>on 18 August 2015 i bought a second hand golf 6 tdi .</p> <p>The serves was good and was welcome with warm hands..</p> <p>I traded my previous car that had no second gear in on the golf 6.</p> <p>i told the salesman armand dewet what was wrong he said no probleme and did the trade..</p> <p>the day i colected the golf 6 they told me any probleme with the car bring it and we wil fix it. No probleme and we wil give you a curtsey car free of charge..</p> <p>i also took out exstra warrantys on the car for my own best will.</p> <p>After 8 months i stop by armand motorama and book the car for the clutch..after 3 week with no feed back from armand the clutch give in and i took it back for repairs.</p> <p>on my arivel at motorama armand aproutc me with out greeting and said they dont have a curtisy car sorry..</p> <p>A view word was said and we got in a augment</p> <p>where he blame me an said i new about the faulds on the previous car but said noting were by i told them all the faults.</p> <p>There service was very poor..</p> <p>after a long debate they help me with the clucth and said its the final and last time they will help me.</p> <p>There policy states that after 6 months there responsebility are done.but there words were diffrent the day i bought the car..they were full of false promises just to get ride of the car.</p> <p>3 months later i decided to sell my car and took a chance to go back to armand..</p> <p>where by he helped me but told me i must take the car to his father where by they can test drive it and make a desicion.</p> <p>i did so but his father renier had a very bad aprouch like iam a criminal selling him a pice of s****..</p> <p>he took the car for a test drive give it back and said sorry they have 3 golf 6 already..</p> <p>he was reading tru the car service book and misplaced it in my car..</p> <p>after 3 days i saw my books are not in my car i went back to fetch my books were i greeted renier and an other gentelman.</p> <p>when i asked if my service book wasn't here by fault renier started to shout i must get out he is not his son and he is not a thief.</p> <p>We argumented about the book were these other gentelmen try to agresively try to get me out of the office screaming and shouting they could have treated me like a human not chase me out like a animal..</p> <p>iam very unhappy ..</p> <p>they make empty promises in the beginning but after you buy the car they are diffrent people..</p>

I bought 2 cars from MOTORAMA in klopper street in the past.The service I got from Hans was incredible.He always went out of his way to satisfy me as a client.I relocated to cape town about 4 years ago and bought vehicles at other dealerships, but the level of service I got from other dealers can't compare to the top notch service I received from Hans.Hans is a very straight forward, honest person in my experience.I would recommend anyone who wants to buy a good secondhand vehicle to check in at Hans first.who knows, I might buy my next vehicle from them, all the way from cape town.<br>

I bought a car from motorama in november since then i had problems with the ignition is damaged 4 shock absorbers are damaged and the cars tyres are worn because of the worn shock absorbers.i contacted the dealer and the dealer replaced the rear shocks and told me the car is fixed i took the car for a shock absorber test and al 4 shocks was faulty when i contacted the dealer they where rood and told me they dont sell new cars its my problem now .i would not advise anybody to to buy a car from them to spend 150 000 on a car and then you cant drive the car because it swerve on the road and vibrate and its dangerous to other road users so nog i have to spend another R5000 to fix the car after driving 600km with my road worthy car in one moth the car was at the dealer to be fixed for 4 days and its not fixed .
